SOURCE: undeleting email

When you delete messages in Yahoo! Mail, they go to your Trash folder. If you delete a message by mistake, for a little while you'll be able to find it in Trash and move it back to your Inbox or another folder. Just remember that messages in your Trash folder can be deleted at any time, without warning.
To permanently remove the contents of Trash yourself, just click Empty next to Trash on the left side of the page. When messages are emptied from the trash folder, they are permanently deleted from the Yahoo! Mail server and cannot be recovered.

SOURCE: i accidentally deleted all my emails from my inbox

It's possible, if it's been less than 24 hours since you deleted those emails to recover by filling out this form.

If using Classic:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/cl…

If using All-New:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ya…

If more than 24 hours, and the Trash folder has been emptied, there would be no possible way to retrieve deleted emails.

Try to make a habit of NEVER emptying your Trash folder. The emails in that folder are deleted periodically by Yahoo!, so there's no reason for you to take that step.

My start up disk is full

Start by emptying the trash on the desktop.

Next, launch iPhoto. Photos that you delete are stored in a separate trash can within the app. Give it a final look and then "empty trash"

Lastly, Empty the trash and spam folders in your email program. Sometimes, I sort all mail by email attachment size. Rarely need the over sized emails. Jokes and movies that got a chuckle last month and be tossed.

I recently found a 40gb of wasted space.

Over the last few weeks I have been receiving emails not addressed to me. This has been quite distressing at times as there have been final demands for payment and others for payment for services we know...

DO NOT answer them and DO NOT click on any links within them.

If these are not yours and truly have nothing to do with you. delete them and empty your trash folder.

These are called "phishing" emails and they are trying to scare you into answering or clicking on them.

If they are not yours DELETE them.

My mail went into trash and i cant get it back as the trash is empty

Nothing you can do
Your trash will probably Auto delete after a set period
You can usualy change the time it waits before emptying
Unless Yahoo Mail Archives your emails its gone forever
Google Mail archives emails so even if you delete the trash you can get it back

I don't know if you emptied the Trash folder or if Yahoo! did, but it's not a bad idea to get into the habit of NEVER emptying the Trash folder. Yahoo! empties it for us, so there's really no need for that step.

How can i get deleted mesaages (deleted from trashes also)in yahoo.

Losing important emails or accidentally deleting emailsthat you still need can be frustrating. Good news is that Yahoo! Mail providesways to retrieve deleted messages. In fact, whenever you delete a message fromyour inbox, it is automatically transferred to a "Trash" folder incase you need it again in the future. In case your "Trash" folder isemptied, you can still recover deleted messages using Yahoo's"Restore" feature ? Log in to your Yahoo! Mail account.Navigate to the "Trash" folder located at the left portion of thescreen, and then check if the deleted message is there. ? Open the message and select the"Move" option in the Yahoo! mail toolbar. Select "Inbox" orany other existing folder into which you want to transfer the message. It willthen be immediately transferred to your chosen folder. ? Use the "Search" option atthe upper portion of the window if you do not want to browse through severaldeleted emails. Type the email address of the sender or other keywords relatedto the email message and click on "Search." ? Use the "Yahoo! MailRestore" feature to recover mails that have been deleted in the past 24hours. This is if your trash folder is empty and your deleted emails are nolonger available. Click on the "Help" button at the upper portion ofthe screen and then select "Help" once again from the options thatappear. ? Select "Emailing: TheBasics" from the list of "Help topics." Click on "Deletingand Recovering Mails," then choose "Restore Lost or DeletedEmails." ? Read the instructions on how torecover emails that were deleted within the last 24 hours. Complete the requiredform and hit "Submit." You will be prompted once emails are restored.

How do you empty trash my mail box is full

Log into your yahoo account. Look to the left of the screen and you will see trash. Right next to it is empty. Click this to empty trash. You may need to go through al of your email and do a little housecleaning as well. If you tend to get large attachments or pictures, then this is why it is full. Be sure and save attachments, photos, documents, etc. before deleting any email as you cannot get these back once deleted from trash.
