Question about Casio Exilim EX-S500 Digital Camera
I accidentally dropped my new Casio Exilim EX1050 Digicam with the lens on, now, I cannot anymore turn it on because the lens is stuck due to disalignment. Where can you refer me for repair around metro manila area, pls help.
Remove the screws/case and with power on, slightly push the lens back
make sure you disable the play mode so it not turn on by itself if you accident touch the play mode

Blow compressed air in the gaps around the lens barrels with the idea of blowing out any sand or grit that may be in there jamming the lens. Other variations include blowing with a hair dryer in "no heat" setting, or sucking the gaps with a vacuum (careful with this one).
If these don't work, you'll need to contact the support section of the Casio website for their advice. Get an estimate for repairs....then decide if you want it fixed or replaced.
