Window 7 doesn't recognize birdcam

after plugging in the USB cable to the camera and computer you need to set the mode button on the camera to "setup". Then the USB will be recognized and you'll be able to see your drive and pictures. I had the same problem then went and re-read the instruction manual... when in doubt... READ :)

My IBM computer doesn't recognize when I plug in the usb camera patch cord and even the display goes blank on the camera. So do I need a new driver or camera

Welcome to Fixya
Did you accidentally dropped the camera? You should be able to see options when you plug in the camera to your computer. Try to reset the camera first to factory state as part of our initial troubleshooting.See procedure below:
Select reset settings icon Press set button Reset setting screen should appear then press YES Press the SET button Camera setting should be reset then test the issue again
Thank you for using Fixya!

I cannot access pictures on my memory card when i connect the camera to my computer. its canon powershot sd750.

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

USB fails to recognize my PSP

what are you trying to do? connect it to the computer?

if so try a new usb cable. if that dont work look inside the female ubs jack on the psp make sure all the pins are there. see if it wiggles any.

you might need to replace the ubs port on your psp. which is a soldering job.

Cannot download video to windows vista

A USB cable will not transfer video from this camera. you have to have the video cable, which plugs in at the bottom of the front of the camera, next to the S-video. Hope this helps.
