Question about Ovens
The light comes on as soon as the oven is turned on and stays on the entire time. The manual which is a generic one covering many models states that the oven light can be turned on or off at any time by pressing and holding the bell/timer button for 5 secs but this model has no such button - only a similar electronic icon that does nothing when pressed. Does anyone know if this light be turned off at all?
I have a photo of your oven on screen and in the electric area there is a bell icon to the left of the display.
you press that for 5 seconds or more
you say that it is not working and as it is new then get a service technician out under warranty to check/fix the fault

Thanks Bill Boyd but I rang Westinghouse and they informed me that on this particular model, the light cannot be turned off. ??
