Wii remotes blinks several times but doesn't work.

My wii remotes were working fine up until the batteries died. I have rechargeable batteries. So i removed the batteries from the remotes to recharge them. After replacing the batteries, the four blue lights towards the bottom of the remotes would blink several times then nothing. The console is turned on. I can see the game however i don't even see the little hand on the screen either.

Power off the wii and remove the power cable and the batteries cutting off the power to all the wii stuff. Then put the batteries back in the controllers, plug the wii back in, and power it on. The controllers should work after that. If not, you may have to contact their support department.

I hope this helps :)

Best Regards,

James

Wii remote not working?

OK, i got a new wii remote, set it up, and now none of my wii remotes are working including the one i just set up.

Try these two synchronization processes and if it still doesn't work than contact me:
  1. Press the Power button on the Wii console to turn it on.

  2. Open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of the Wii console. Remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote you wish to sync up.

  3. Press and release the SYNC button just below the batteries on the Wii Remote; the Player LED will blink. Quickly press and release the SYNC button on the inside of the SD Card compartment on the console.

  4. When the Player LED blinking stops, the syncing is complete. The LED that is illuminated indicates the player number (1 through 4).

  5. This procedure must be followed for each additional Wii Remote added to your system.

    One Time Mode Synchronization
Press the HOME Button on a Wii Remote that is synchronized with the Wii console.

  1. Select the Wii Remote Settings option from the Home Button menu.

  2. Select the Reconnect Option.

  3. Press the 1 and 2 Buttons at the same time on the Wii Remote that you want to synchronize with the console. If you are syncing multiple Wii Remotes, press the 1 and 2 Buttons on each Wii Remote immediately (without a significant pause) in the order you want them synced. The order in which you synchronize Wii Remotes determines the player order (1 through 4) for multiplayer games. The Player LED will blink during the syncing process. When the blinking stops, the connection is complete.

After charging the wii remotes in the base until

I don't think you are doing anything wrong, just the setup you are useing is'nt as effective as you would like.

I use the energizer rechargeable (NiMH) batteries with the energizer 15 minute charger. The other batteries and chargers just don't seem to work as well. I get several hours of play time on a single charge, where I was only getting about 1/2 hour to an hour with the others. **No I am not a paid endorser, I just use and like the product!**

Hope this helps, please let me know how you end up or if I can help more.

How do i resync my wii controler

follow the steps descrived below:
1.Turn on your Wii console. While on the HOME screen, press any button on the Wii Remote. If the 4 squares on the bottom remain dark, change the batteries (or for a rechargeable Wii Remote, place it on the charger for a while).
2.If the 4 squares blink blue, then stop, your Wii Remote is not synced. Press the 1 and 2 buttons at the same time. This should connect your Wii Remote if it's been synced before.
3.If your 4 squares still blink blue, then stop, these last steps will do the trick. First, on the front of the Wii console, just underneath the disc slot, there is a small panel that opens down. Open it and press the small red button.
4.Open the battery panel of your Wii Remote and press the small red button. Replace the battery panel and observe the blinking blue lights. If 3 stop blinking, and 1 remains lit blue, your Wii Remote is synced with your console.

Wii Remotes are not working.

Be sure to follow this procedure in order:

Note: Make sure you have placed batteries in the Wii Remote.

  1. Press the Power button on the Wii console to turn it on.
  2. Remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote you wish to sync up, and press the SYNC button just below the batteries. The Player LED will blink.
  3. Open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of the Wii console and press the SYNC button on the inside of the compartment.
  4. When the Player LED blinking stops, the syncing is complete. The LED that is illuminated indicates the player number (1 to 4).
If that doesn't work, try putting fresh non-rechargable alkaline batteries in the remote and repeat the above procedure. The culprit may actually be your batteries.
