My 40-FAC heater will not ignite and run. The igniter has been replaced. What should I check next?

These models require electrical power to run the blower fan.
When you connect the electrical cord, the fan should turn on, then you should be able to start / ignite the propane. if the fan does not turn on when you connect the power cord, you will not be able to ignite the propane.

Check the space between the flywheel and the magneto. If it still don't have spark, get a new plug or spark plug wire.

My driver (D) is showing it has only a few GB remains. But the drive wont have that much of data in it. Why it is so??

if d is your cd/dvd drive then thats just how those roll. If it is an HDD then try ccleaner. if that program doesn't work then check out a disk usage program to see whats taking up the space. If you have made it that far it is **** most likely feel free to slap your husband/boyfriend/son

Turn on wont ignite if does smokes take top coveroff works fine

Must be starving for air then, check and make sure it is clean and unobstructed and air can get in around the finns to the flame. Is the blower fan running? I assume so if it lights.

You may have a bad transformer that sends the electricity to the spark plug. Have you tried a new plug?

I have a 60,000 btu kerosene heater its getting fuel and the glow plug turns on but still wont fire up n shuts down. what would cause this?

Well it is getting fuel but is it atomized in very small droplet form? If so is your igniter close enough to ignite the fuel? You see these spray a very fine conical mist under high pressure, if the mist is not defined or conical it sprays past the igniter. If it is fine and cone shaped it could be the positioning of your igniter. Please check both by removing the top section of the heater and watch what is going on in there. My thoughts are a bad nozzle and if you replace it pay attention to spray angle and GPH rating printed on the side of the nozzle.

Flame ignites for several seconds and then stops

there is a flame rod that looks like a thermocouple. Clean it with a pencil eraser or scotch brite pad. The carbon build up on it acts as an insulator and it wont rectify the flame
