How do I hook up the Retro Duo nes/snes system to an older tv that has no a/v connections. I do have a Direct tv cable box but when I hooked the a/v cables to it absolutely nothing happened

Do you have a VCR that can hook to the TV that has the proper hook ups for your game system? Be sure your TV is on proper channel for your VCR to work (test it with a VCR tape and see if it plays) then change your channel on your vcr until it shows your game you have in your system hope that helps good luck

My Hp laptop screen is pixelated

Hook spare monitor to video output, if okay! the LCD panel is bad and needs replacement. If symptom is the same, it means the video graphics card is defective usually built into the motherboard.

Hitachi ultra vision tv stuck on on moment please screen

Another malady common to plasma TVs are stuck pixels. This is where a red, green or blue pixel will fail to reset and remains conspicuously on the screen in the midst of the new images being displayed. There is a useful third-party program called JScreen Fix. This utility stimulates the pixels in the television through an intensive and prolonged burst of colored static. Many times this is enough to remove the stuck pixel. To utilize this program, you will need to run it off of a laptop that is hooked up to your plasma television. Water spill on my AOC2216Vw LCD Monitor

Hey man, thanks for coming to me. Um yea, massaging may help but too hard will do damage since it is LCD is Liquid Crystal Display and it is fragile and easy to damage. The water should clear up in a few months, if not i would look at replacing it which can be costly. Here is a link to fix your unstuck pixels

Now im not liking that bit about how you mentioned was spreading so leave it for about two days, give the therapy for the screen a try and let me know if the laptop screen is healing. For the moment if you have one i recommend you hook up a VGA Monitor, old school stuff if you can and give the LCD a rest. I will post as a solution but comment back and i will keep helping you as much as you need it.

Picture problems

Hi,

The pixelation is probably caused by MPEG2 compression on the DVD and Virgin media video streams, the blur is probably caused becasue you are displaying a standard definition signal on a high definition TV.

However if a high-def source still has these problems then you may have a faulty TV, your best bet is too hook up a high-def source such as a HD/Blu-ray player or PS3/360 games console.

Should a high-def source look ok, then you may have some look changing the display settings on the TV to try and improve picture sharpness and color balance.

Thanks.
