I would check your hot fill hose if it has one, put the programme on a number two and listen to hear any water coming in.

SOURCE: I have j1045 front load

The display should say 5E, this means that it's not draining. unlucky for you as this means you have to replace the drain pump, wich aperently cost about $137NZ. this seemes to be a common fault. i'm not a teck, but I just had the same thing happen, lucky for me i had a warranty.
Other simptoms are the loud racking noise coming fromn the washing machine. home this helps.

SOURCE: I have a dirty rubber inner Bosch Maxx 1200 Front Loading Washing

First clean around the rubber with some mould and mildew cleaner for bathrooms - available from most supermarkets.

This is a natural accumulation of waste detergent, fabric softener, fibres and dirt build up that is being attacked by bacteria and eventually decomposes into a sludge / goo and then eventually starts smelling bad as well.

To keep the machine clean of waste build up and to keep any bad odours away:

1. Remove all items from the washer.
2. Open the dispenser drawer and 2/3 cup (160 mL) of liquid chlorine bleach to the bleach compartment. DO NOT use more than 2/3 cup (160mL) of bleach per cycle as this will lead to product damage.
3. Close the washer door and dispenser drawer.
4. Select the Clean Washer cycle or a full wash cotton 104 F wash (40 C). DO NOT use any higher temperature as this will cause unnecessary fumes
5. Press Start and allow cycle to complete.
6. After the cycle is complete, leave the door open slightly to allow ventilation and drying of the washer interior.
7. Repeat the cleaning procedure monthly

I've been getting the letters "OE" on my washing machine. I presume that means Operator Error. I cannot figure out what is wrong. Can you help me?

That is really a DE, which stands for Drain Error. Open the access door at the bottom left on front of the machine. Use the small hose to drain the remaining water out of the machine. Unscrew the big knob by that hose and remove the attached filter. Clean out the filter. Re-install and test. If there wasn't anything in the filter, replace the pump motor.

Washing machine flashing oe

OE = Drain Error • Not fully drained within 10 minutes.
Check and clean the pump filter. The access panel is located on the front, bottom left of the machine. Place a towel under the front of the pump filter access panel opening before opening to catch any water that may flow out.
Check drain hose on the back of the machine for any kinks or blockage.

Remove lowwer rrear panel. locate and remove the large black hose fastened to bottom of drum, there should be a plastic filter inside the hose, if not, then filter is located at bottom front right of washer behind cover.

I have a 5E error on the diplay of my washing machine with the clothes locked inside and with no solution whatsoever .... Help Please

If its a samsung model, which I am assuming it is as I have just had the same error code, it means you need to clean your debris filter.

If its a samsung washing machine...to clean the debris filter you need to open the panel which is located on the front of the washing machine on the bottom right (you will need a coin or a key to do this) When you do you will see a large black plastic screw on the left and a small white plastic screw on the right.

The 1st thing you need to do is pull out the white screw (this is the emergency drain hose) have a bowl or bucket ready (the hose doesnt reach that far) and pull of the white knob (i had to kind of twist and pull, a little harder than i thought)

After you have drained the water you can now clean the debris filter (the large black screw) Have some towels or another bowl or bucket ready underneath as more water will drain. When all gone you can twist off the black screw and remove anything blocking (I had a coin and a plastic wrapper and some tooth picks. No more error message.

Good Luck!

How do you open the machine to get at the parts to fix error f2?

Yeah F-2 is for a long drain, probably have junk in the pump filter. Remove the bottom front panel by removing the three 9/32 screws from the bottom flange. Pull the panel down and off. The drain pump sits right there at the front of the base. Turn the pump filter counter-clockwise to remove and check for debris. WARNING! When you remove the filter, any water remaining in the machine will pour out, have a basin ready. Clean out the filter if there is anything to clean out, also reach your finger in and feel the pump impeller, if it feels loose and wobbly, you may need to replace the whole pump assembly. Hopefully not though. Hope that helps !

My LG 2277HW gave the LE error and we replaced the entire motor based on a Washing Machine Repair Company's advice. Within the month the machine would not spin the clothes all the way out and eventually...

The LE issue should of been for the followinig, not a motor:
LE LOCKED MOTOR ERROR

• The connector (3-pin, male, white) in the MOTOR HARNESS is not connected to the connector (3-pin, female, white) of STATOR ASSEMBLY.

• The electric contact between the connectors (3-pin, male, white) in the MOTOR HARNESS and 4-pin, female, white connector in the MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY is bad or unstable.

• The MOTOR HARNESS between the STATOR ASSEMBLY and MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY is cut (open circuited).

• The ball sensor is out of order/defective.

The OE error means it is not draining. Two diffrent issues.
Are you sure you cleaned out the drain filter on the bottom? Not just drained it. You have to drain it then pull the filter out and clean it.

Make sure you are using HE soap, regular soap will produce sudsing issues in front loading machines.
F21 indicates a clogged pump or a long drain. Since you are also getting a SD error indicating a sudsing issue, the water level switch (pressure switch) may have failed. If you would like to make sure the pump is not clogged, you can clean/inspect the pump filter;
  • Remove the bottom access panel (three screws along the bottom).
  • There you will find access to the pump clean-out. (Large, white screw cap)
  • BE PREPARED TO CATCH SOME WATER.
  • CAREFULLY AND SLOWLY unscrew the pump clean-out, catching and discarding the water.
  • When the water flow finally stops, completely remove the clean-out filter.
  • Inspect the clean-out filter, the drain hose from the tub as well as inside the pump impeller for any additional debris

Duet error code F 02.

Just had this problem. Remove the kick plate in front of machine. The drain pump filter maybe clogged. Turn the white screw to remove filter, but be sure to have towels or a bucket handy. I clean mine out and now is working fine.
