Press and hold down both the power button and the volume(-)
buttons and keep holding them down until you see some green android and some green text.
This could take as long as 20-30 seconds.
One of the lines of green text will say something like
wipe data/factory reset. Scroll to it using the volume(+) button and select it using a short push of the power button.
Another screen will come up with lines of no no no no
and line of proceed. Sroll down to the proceed line using the
volume(+) key and select it using the power key.
It will wipe the data and do a factory reset and prompt
you to reboot. To reboot press the power button to turn it off
the give it ten or fifteen seconds and press and hold the power button and it should boot into the original configuration. This could take up to a minute or two depending so don't get impatient.
don't know what tablet you are talking about, but on most you need to hold it down for 10-15 seconds. and on some you hold down power button and vol + at same time for 10-15 secs. on iPad hold down center button and power button for 10=15 secs.
Look in your tablet instruction book for a procedure called 'hard reset' or a location for a small hole on the edge or back of the tablet where you can push in something non-conductive, like a toothpick to press a hidden reset switch. Without having a make and model for your tablet, it is hard to determine what exactly to do because each make and model is different. You talk about pressing the power and low volume buttons- are you holding them both in simultaneously for 10 seconds? This might be the reset procedure for your tablet, but that is not clear. One last thing to try is to hold in the power button for 10 seconds and see if you get a power off screen. If you get this, try powering off the tablet and then restarting. Also make sure the keyboard isn't on caps lock when you type your password.
1.hold down the power key for 10 seconds to turn off the unit with nothing hooked to the unit (no ac/no usb/nothing)
2. hold the volume up key (+) and the power, once the screen starts to turn on release the keys.
3. NEXT you should get a robot laying down with a red triangle, push the power key one time. This will get you to the menu screen.
4. from here you chose the reset factory by using the volume down (-). Once you have that line highlighted press the power button.
5. next use the (-) key to get to yes to reset/reboot followed by the power key to chose the option.
6. tablet will come back on and be just like you got it from the store originally.
in settings, try to put the "sleep" timer to 2 minutes, and see if it actually locks (or sleeps:turn off the screen)... also with mine sometimes the "capture screeen" feature works (more donts than do's!) perhaps very poor quality from the buttons.
clean all the apps running, and start with a full fresh boot (turn off by holding the power button 10 secs or more, then conecting to the charging usb, press again the power button), the volume also can be set via software, again in settings.
If your tablet freezes, or in any other way does not react, you can force it to turn off by pushing and holding the power button for 15 seconds. If this doesn't work, use the 'pinhole reset button'. Get a paperclip and use it to gently push the reset button on the backside of the unit.
Hello, Call support support for the tablet and see what they would do. If no help then call the manufacturer or the tablet and talk too the tech support. They will walk you thru trouble shooting and they will tell you what to do.
I would recommend for you to turn the iPad off completely and restart it. To do this you push the power button in the top right until "hopefully the red "swipe to turn off button" appears. If this does not happen we will have to perform a hard reset and the way to do this is to push the power button and the home button at the same time for about 10 seconds. The iPad may restart automatically however if it does now now you can push the power button in the top right and the Apple Logo should appear at the center of the screen.
Now your iPad should start up freshly and come back to life, unless there isn't a further problem.
I found a solution on youtube. You might press the power button for 5 to 10 seconds. The tablet will turn off. Then you press the power button again to turn the tablet on (3 secs), and that's all. Hope it works.
