SOURCE: Getting error code on lg front loader washer

Hello aj546,
Kinda figured there was a miscue there with your error code however... the error code FE refers to the fact that water is overflowing ( normally means the inlet water valve is stuck open and continues to let in water beyond the expected and/or sensed level.. so the water pump turns on to drain it and keep the level down. This kind of problem would probably warrant a aservice call from a tech since the majority of troubleshooting would require diagnosing the failed component itself and is not something that I recommend you try. There are too many pieces of hardware that have a direct impact on how this works and I highly doubt you want to play the shotgun approach..try this to see if it fixes the problem and if not..try that...
Before calling for service.. try this..
remove or disconect ac power from the washer..let it sit unplugged for at least an hour..then try washing 1 towel at the lowest cold water setting to see if that works ..if it does..repeat the process using only hot water.. if that works... then try the same test using warm water.. ( this test may help determine if the water inlet valve .,.either hot or cold is leaking through it)... If you still get the FE for service.. That's the best I can offer via this chanel... BTW..if only one of the two tests fails.. ( Hot water only generates an FE error.. then chances are the hot water inlet solenoid valve assembly is either sticking open or the controls to that are commanding it to remain open... Hope that helped you..'

SOURCE: Samsung J845 front loader washing machine. Error

An OE error presents if the washing machine has not successfully drained the water in ten minutes.
there are a few simple steps to take before calling for service.
Step 1: Check the drain pump filter.
Items caught in the drain filter will prevent proper drainage. Over time build up can occur from detergents and additives used in the machine. Manually drain unit through the drain hose, then lay a towel down to catch the water, and remove the filter. Clean the filter thoroughly and restart the machine.

Step 2: Check the washers drain hose.
If the drain hose is not installed properly, the washer will not drain properly. The drain hose should not be installed more than 1 meter higher than the bottom of the washing machine.

Step 3: Confirm that the washer is leveled properly.
If the unit is not leveled properly, it will not drain properly. The front of the unit cannot be higher than the back or vice versa. If not properly leveled, the water can flow back into the machine. If this is the cause of the problem, please level the machine using the supplied leveling wrench. When you place a level on the washing machine, the bubble should be in the center. Confrim that the washer is leveled from side to side and front to back.
you can perform a diagonal test when leveling the washing machine to ensure that the unit does not tilt from corner to corner.

Thanks for contacting

SOURCE: samsung front loader washer gets about 3 i nches

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
This is symptomatic of a malfunctioning water control valve- not closing completely which is its default/no power position. Turn each tap off overnight in turn to see which one is the culprit. It needs replacing ;-0(
Good luck,
John C
Please score this solution accordingly- thanks!

What does FA mean on the machine

Hello. You didn't state the model number of the washer so my help is limited. The FA error code on some washers indicates the flood sensor has been tripped. (Check for a water leak asap) There is a sensor, usually located at the bottom, rear, that trips if water comes into contact with it.(shorts across the terminals) and causes an immediate shut-down of the washer. I'm assuming this is a front-loading unit. Depending on the model, you will have to either remove the service panel from the middle of the rear panel or, remove the entire metal rear cover of the washer--about 20 screws more or less, the top 3 and middle 2 will be machine thread and not sheet metal screws(have a much coarser thread).
Check for water residue trails( to help you locate the source of the leak. Don't rule out a leak coming from one or more of the inlet water valves located at the top, rear of the washer underneath the top cover. Shut off the water at the wall first, and then do what *I* do--start from the top and work my way down. If the valves *are* leaking, there usually will be rust and moisture around the magnet coils of the suspect valve(s). (i.e. LG washers are notorious for leaking inlet water valves and I keep several sets on the svc van). Also, carefully check out the electric drain pump for a cracked casing or loose hose clamps--I hate those spring clamps--replace them with automobile hose clamps if you can(the kind that you use a screwdriver to tighten). If the valves aren't leaking, CAREFULLY check any and all hoses coming from the dispenser holder on a front-loader and the lines leading to the different dispensers on a top loader. I hope I helped you!

How can I get a manual for Samsung front loader washing machine DC6801776B

Search in google. Type in "Samsung Front Loading Washer model..."

Chances are, the manufacturer has a digital copy on-line. There are also other sites which archive instruction manuals of all sorts :)

Washer front loader wont spin or unlock

Find your book that came with the washer, and it will have trouble codes. Your lights are probably flashing a code. Count the flashes then look up your code in the book. That is a good place to start.

Samsung front loader washer Model: WF306LAW

The "3E" error code indicates that a high current is detected.
A "3E" error in a Samsung washer indicates that there is an issue with the motor. Restarting the cycle may clear the error, but a service technician should be consulted if the error code appears again.

When I turn my Samsung VRT front loader on, the hourglass will not go off and washer start.

I am having the same issue as well i.e i can set the cycle but the washer wont start (the hourglass Icon remains lit). If i press the off button. The display shows off but the display doesnt shut down. Thought this might a control board issue. Bought one off of ebay & replaced it. Did not make any difference (p.s the machine is outside of US so calling service is not an option).

Samsung washer error code f1

What kind of detergent are you using? F1 in most cases means that the wrong type of detergent is being used. If it's a front-loader, you should be using h3 detergent.

Kenmore elite front loader washer:door locked after repair

If you have cleaned the drain pump and checked ALL the drain lines (this includes the drain line that runs from the bottom of the wash tub to the inlet side of the drain pump), then you may have to replace the pump.

Since the error code is generated if the drain cycle exceeds 8 minutes, if the pump is damaged and cannot pump at the correct volume to complete the drain cycle, the error code will continue to appear until the pump is replaced.

The following link explains how to replace the drain pump (if required):

Replacement parts (if required) can be purchased at any of the following websites:

All these sites are reputable and offer great service with competitive pricing, so shop and compare. The first three sites I hjave listed also have helpful exploded view parts illustrations to assist you in locating and properly identifying the parts you need.

If you are having problems with unlocking the washer, there is a manual release you can use to get the door open: The problem may just be a momentary glitch in programming related to the "F02" error code you are receiving. If there are any error codes present, the washer will not complete a cycle and will shut down. I would recommend double checking the drainage system one more time to ensure there's nothing caught in the pump impeller or any of the drain lines (you may have overlooked something), followed by replacement of the pump if the problem continues. This will hopefully cure any others issues you may be experiencing with the washer. If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.

Samsung P801 Front Loader shakes violently during spin cycle.

When the washer goes into spin cycle it is suppost to start at a slow speed and continue to increase speed (to a maximum of 800 RPM) as the water leaves the clothes. Your washer is going directly to 800 RPM which causes the washer to shake and stop giving you the E4 code. The control board that controls this speed increase must be replaced.

Stops mid cycle

that's the washing machine version of going on a walkabout, no? just kidding.

E9 suggests that the line is getting clogged. the filter pulls out(see user manual for that option) and you might want to consider running it with baking soda solution in warm water or hot, once or twice to get rid of that odor.
