(b) To set Ringtones to Call Alert Sim1, tried: Menu - Settings - Phone Profiles - Normal - Voice Edit . The screen does not change on pressing Voice Call Ringtones. Spent countless hours trying to set Ringtones for incoming calls of Sim1 & Sim2, Messages alert for Sim1 & Sim2, but did not succeedYou have to do as follows: Menu - Settings - Phone Profiles - Normal - Edit - Voice Call Ringtone - Music - Card / Phone and chose your required Ring tone. (c) Could not clear multiple Icons overlapping each other on main screen.You have to tap on the Screen the Widgets will come on left side. Put your finger on the Icon - Icon will increase in Size - now without picking the finger from Screen just drag the icons on the Left Widget Slider bar, it will go on it. If you answer a call before the Caller ID message is received (for example, before the second ring), the Caller ID message will not appear.
When the call is received via a telephone company that does not offer Caller ID service, the caller’s phone number and name does not appear. (This includes some international calls.)
When the call is via a private branch exchange (PBX), the caller's phone number and name may not appear.
You may receive any one of the following messages:
When a private name is received; Private Name
When a private number is received; Private Number
When a unknown name is received; Unknown Name
When a unknown number is received; Unknown Number
When invalid data is received; Incomplete Data
The Caller ID list stores information for incoming calls - even unanswered calls. You can store up to 100 Caller ID messages and phonebook entries (including Speed Dials) for each handset and the base. You can view the Caller ID list through the handset or base during a call or when the phone is in standby mode.
Memory locations for Caller ID messages and Phonebook entries (including Speed Dials) are common, you can store up to all 100 entries for each handset and the base. Caller ID messages are not stored when you have 100 phonebook entries. When you have stored a total of 100 phonebook entries and Caller ID messages, the oldest Caller ID message is overwritten.

sounds like you phone settings are not right in the phone call your service provider for the setting in your phone and manualy add them call from a land line due to this could take a few mins to do and you cant access your menue to do this while on the phone
Have you called your own fax line and just listened to the fax hand shake? might sound simple but I have called fax lines before and it just rang, or it was busy or static, if your not getting a clear fax hand shake, then it is the phone line, if there is no answer you may have turned your fax to manual receive mode, If you don't know how it should sound call a friends business fax line and listen to it. I have actually gone out to businesses that reported send or receive problems just to call the line and listen to a disconnect message, that would make it difficult to fax.
