Why after getting a brand new tablet right out of the box would a charger not work? This should not be

hmm seems strange but it sounds like the charger came dead on arrival depending if it charges by USB any type of USB charger will work even your computer can charge it unless it comes with a different type of charger a multi switch charger may work as long as your set the voltage down to 5v DC or in some cases 3.5V DC

Depending on how many charge cycles your battery has had it may not accept charging anymore.

My Kocaso M1062 will not take a charge and says connect charger.

The power Cell (Battery) no longer accepts a charge. The exception is if the AC/DC charging adapter has failed. See if you have a similar power charger around the house. Look for the same type of male pin and proper DC or AC Voltage plus Amps as listed on the current Tablet Charger. Never leave chargers in the electrical outlet alone as they can be damaged by surge power. Try another charger and if that fails also, the power cell in the tablet needs replacing.

Coby Kryos Android Tablet is not charging. It is connected to a charger but its not charging.

Leave the tablet connected to the charger for 5-10 minutes even if doesn\'t work. Then take out the battery and try with master charger and (switch on the tablet) after that, check whether the previous charger is working again or not again. If it doesn\'t show charging sign, then you have to take it to service center to change the charger connector.

If you can get the tablet apart you probably just need to re-solder the jack on.

AgpTek android 4g tablet charger doesn't charge my tablet !

This solution worked for about a couple of months, but now I'm looking for a replacement power supply also. I wiggled the tiny adapter plug while it was inserted in the tablet and found that it would make contact at a certain angle and pressure. So I got a long fat rubberband and used it to make proper contact by rigging it diagonally, across the tablet. Be careful as too much lateral pressure will bend the plastic sleeve of the contact and render it useless. My theory is that the original problem was partially caused by using the tablet while charging and thus damaging the plug. Although this is a persistent complaint / problem with AGPteK tablets. Mine didn't even last 6 months.
