Question about Washing Machines
These are reliable units and use much of the same components as their side by side big brothers!
Check all settings of the heat control and confirm under all settings that no heat is present in the drum.
Also try timed drying setting versus auto drying.
No heat in drum, first check is to confirm that 220 volt is at the appliance. The washer and dryer motor operates on 115 and if the one leg of the 220 volt supply is not present the heater will not work. Check breaker, dryer plug and removing plug from wall check the connections at the cable to the dryer.
Look for burnt wires/terminals.
If connections are good than the following list of components are the most likely to have failed.
This unit is capable of running with just simple repairs for many years and if a qualified technician is available simple troubleshooting and repair is straight forward. All parts are available. Get an estimate before proceeding
