The timing does not rely so much on the weight as on the shape. Your best bet is to use an instant read thermometer or a temperature probe. The lower the temp, the more evenly it will cook. Try starting at 175c. You want an internal temp around 63c at the center of the roast.

There's no magic number. It depends on what sort of result you want, the heat of your grill, the temperature of your meat, even your altitude. I would do a reverse sear, which means building a two-zone fire (or lighting only half of your gas burners), then using a meat thermometer probe and cooking it on the cool side of the grill until the middle of the roast reaches about 10 degrees (F) below where you want it. Then switch to the hot side of the grill and finish the outside (avoid lengthy flare ups). Let it rest, lightly tented with foil, for at least 20 minutes to give the juices time to redistribute and residual cooking to take place. Personally, I prefer my pork around 140 degrees (F), juicy and slightly pink.

35 minutes per kg in 180 Celsius oven so 3 and a half hours .
I would add 30 minutes to make sure and pre heat oven before putting in oven .

Hi Sharon! If you want the seasonings to get all thru the meat, I would cut it into about 6 pieces. Add your seasonings and cook it for 20 - 25 minutes. I have been cooking for 50 years and bought one of the electric digital pressure cookers. Liked it so much I bought another one. I made a pork roast about 2 weeks ago and I cooked mine for 25 minutes, It was so tender I could pull it apart with dinner forks. The seasonings I used were fresh diced onions ( 1 med) 2 cloves fresh garlic diced, salt and pepper to taste. Hope this helps.

Oven fan sticking


Probably not. The only real cure is to replace the fan motor. Don't forget the nut folding the fan blades on often has a reverse thread.

My wife says to baste with butter, salt and pepper with a pinch of rosemary. Cook at 225 F for about 30 to 35 minutes. Pork is as its best at mid rare and can serve with a side mint jelly. Enjoy.

these ovens plug into a 30amp 220v outlet call and electrician if your not sure about the plug
