Question about Viking Ovens
I purchased the glass already (PE060090). I've taken the door off and completely apart so that all that's left is the front door panel that holds the glass. But the thin metal strip that surrounds the glass and holds it in place (Viking calls it a "window holder" L20014077) appears to be glued on or held in place with sticky strips on the top and bottom. How do I get this "window holder" frame off so that the replacement glass can be put into place? And then how would I re-attach that same frame? Thanks!

SOURCE: Microwave door shattered
This is not a job you should do. Microwaves are dangerous things and can cause injury. An improperly fitted door will leak. A new door, installed and checked out by a technician is needed here The economics are beyond my area.
