Do archived emails on Gmail take up storage space?

Yes, of course the space taken by the archived messages counts within your storage quota. Even the messages that get accumulated in spam and trash folder also occupies the storage space. But the spam and trash messages get deleted automatically after 30 days but messages archived by user doesn't get deleted unless you manually remove it from the listing.
Email users have no idea whether archived mails are eating their storage space. Being unaware they keep archiving the important mails instead of taking its backup and deleting messages permanently. They also have no idea how to take backup of important mails rather than archiving it.

Experts always advise to take the suggestion from certified professionals, who can be contacted through autonomous Gmail Customer support number, if any which is active round the clock.

I lost my email information on my flight

(1) If it was on your computer, look in your email program (Outlook or whatever) and there should be a "deleted items" folder, where all of your deleted emails are stored; until you permanently delete them.

(2) If you are using an IMAP email account (your internet provider can advise), all of your emails are still stored on their server. You can simply log into your account and mark this email and have it re-downloaded to your computer again. (Call your provider if you don't know how to do this).

Cannot delete email msgs. when delete is attempted get a msg permission denied.

What email server are you using? How many are you trying to delete at a time? Try deleting 1 or 2. Also check your email settings you might have contacts listed as important or you might have marked emails to save and have locked them from being deleted.

How long do restored emails stay in the yahoo trash folder before being permanently deleted

First, let's be clear: when you delete a file in many email programs they're actually moved to a recycle bin so you can often find them there until the recycle bin is emptied. When you empty the recycle bin, then the messages are actually deleted.
The problem is that different email programs all use different approaches to storing their email. As a result, there's no one answer as to what happens when they delete a message.
One clue is if the email program provides a "compact" function for its email storage. That implies that the file will grow as email arrives, but when files are deleted the file doesn't get smaller until you compact. That implies that like a file system, messages that are deleted are simply marked without freeing up the space immediately. Like file systems, as long as new messages haven't overwritten where the deleted messages used to be, then it might be possible to actually retrieve deleted messages. It might need special tools, but it could be possible.
One caution is that some email programs automatically rewrite or compact their files on exit, so this might only work if you make a copy of the email files before exiting the program.
And finally, all of this applies to email that's downloaded to your system. Web-based email like Hotmail or Yahoo, server-based email systems like Microsoft Exchange, or IMAP servers add another level of complexity that makes deleted email that much less likely to be retrievable. These providers do not delete anything. Emails stay on their server forever and you have no control on how long they stay,

How to delete multiple emails on mac air

Two options for Deleting multiple mail messages:

1. The video below shows how to delete a single mail message. To delete multiple mail message you would do the same thing except to delete several mail messages that are in chronological order you would select the top message...press and hold shift....and scroll down to the last message you want to delete and click on that message which will highlight all messages in between the firs and last message you selected. Release the Shift Key. And Delete.

2. To delete multiple messages that aren't in chronological order click on the first message you want to delete. The press and hold the Option Key (Windows Key if you have 3rd Party Keyboard) and select each message you want to delete and it will highlight all those messages individually. After you select all messages you want to delete let go of the Option Key and click on the Delete icon in the mail menu bar.

Important:
This places the deleted emails in your Trash folder within mail. To permanently delete the messages...Right Click on the Trash Icon or hold down Control and then Click on the Trash Icon and select Erase Deleted Items from the drop down menu and they will be permanently deleted and won't take up space on your hard drive.

Emptying your bin from gmail

You can multi-select emails by
1. clicking on each individual check box at the beginning of each email.
2. by clicking the checkbox at the top of the emails - Note you can search for emails and can select all the emails in the result - if you want to select specific emails

One you have selected the emails click on the "trash can" icon (same row as the checkbox) to delete all the emails

- Note: The emails will be moved to trash where they will be kept for about 1 month before automatically deleting. If you want you can go to trash and delete all the emails immidiately!

Undeleting email

When you delete messages in Yahoo! Mail, they go to your Trash folder. If you delete a message by mistake, for a little while you'll be able to find it in Trash and move it back to your Inbox or another folder. Just remember that messages in your Trash folder can be deleted at any time, without warning.
To permanently remove the contents of Trash yourself, just click Empty next to Trash on the left side of the page. When messages are emptied from the trash folder, they are permanently deleted from the Yahoo! Mail server and cannot be recovered.

Outlook Express still sending

Good Evening:

Hope that you are wellJ

Still Stuck in the outbox

Some emails get stuck in the Outbox and sent again and again; this can mean you’re running out of disk space, so your email can’t move it to the Sent folder. You can try moving it or deleting it, but check whether you’re low on space and delete some old emails. Alternatively use Start, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Cleanup to get more space.
If I can be of further assistance, please let me know

And, remember; always include the type of Operating System and the type of computer you own, when you submit your questions. It simply makes for much faster solutions.

Have a wonderful weekend.
