Question about Vacuums
There is a ring on the vacuum hose which can be adjusted, either close to the unit or back up the hose but it's not very heavy, seems to make no difference to it's stability?
Sometimes you need to burp out any trapped air under the vacuum as you place it in the water. Trapped air bubble can cause that. I have had to fasten a light diving weight to mine once before I figured it out.
