SOURCE: Freezer works fine but fridge side stays at about 45 degrees

First, I think it’s important to know that the Ref side has no cooling coils, it’s basically a box and the cold air in the freezer is blown over by a fan through a channel into the Ref side. This channel has a door which regulates how much cold air goes through. You probably have two control knobs in the Ref side, one controls the temp with numbers 1-9, 9 being the coldest. This temp control tells the compressor how long to run. The other control is for that little door and it may have letters A-E, E being the coldest. If you set it on E (coldest) then this will close that little door and keep most the cold air in the freezer.

Now, why is that cold air not getting over to the Ref side?
1. The little door is not open.
check your control setting. You should be able to feel air coming through the channel on the Ref side.

2. The fan in the freezer is not working.
You can hear this fan running when you open the freezer.

3. The coils on the freezer side are clogged with ice which won't let the fan circulate the air over to the Ref side.
This is a failure of the defrost system.

SOURCE: I have purchased a dewalt 718, 12 inch sliding

The fence may be getting in the way of the arm when you adjust the trunion assembly fully to one side or the other for bevel cutting. Adjusting the fence all the way out away from the trunion assy. should allow full 45deg adjustment. If this is not the case, it could be--even though its only slightly used--that there is sawdust built up enough in the housing to keep the arm from fully adjusting.

While the latch COULD indeed be faulty, it generally should always be tightened/locked so that the trunion assy. is fimly "locked" before cutting as this is designed to keep the saw from shifting mid cut, causing binding, uneven cuts, broken blades, seized bearings, etc.

Question. a triangle with two sides 1700mm each with a 45 degree angle. what will the length be of the third side?

If 2 angles are 45 degrees, the other must be 90, so Pythagorus' Theorem applies, so it is sqrt ( 1700^2 + 1700^2 ) = 2404.16
or
for triangles, a / sinA = c / sinC so c = ( 1700 / sin (45) ) * sin (90) = 2404.16.

For a 10ft radius octagon, how long should each side be?

There is probably a formula for this or other ways of doing this, but I will give it a shot.

An octagon has 8 sides (octopus has 8 legs). To make an octagon, we effectively have 8 triangles joined at the centre. In the centre, we have 8 equal angles. Since a full circle is 360 degrees, each of these angles must be 360 / 8 or 45 degrees.

Now we can just focus on one of these triangles. We have an angle of 45 degrees at the centre and two arms extending out 10 feet.

At this point, we can use the cosine law to calculate the length of the side or we can recognize that it is an isosceles triangle and work out the other angles and determine the length of the side.

Using Cosine Law, a^2= b^2 + c^2 - 2xbxc Cos A
In this case, A = 45 degrees, b = 10 feet, c=10 feet.

Good luck.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Paul

How do I cut an angle of 135

You would cut a 45 from the backside if the face side is to have a 135 degree cut. You will need trim up to the final cut.

Maybe this image will help explain it.

Hello, what is your high side pressure? A bad compressor will show abnormally high low side pressure with abnormally low high side pressure. That 45 low side pressure is low And superheat high. If you high side pressure is normal toma little above normal but the low side remains low you have a restriction in the system, that might be why it's not taking in tne freon. Let me know you high side pressure

Supply air is 74 degrees???????? low side

Because you have a ductwork problem. Look for leaks in the supply lines or a dirty coil not allowing sufficient airflow.

I'm not getting hot (warm) water out of my sunheater solar panels. But when I open the value just past the "to the pool" side of the panels I get 150 degree water for 2 minutes. I have adjusted the flow...

the lower the flow rate through the panels, the more heat rise you will get. The most efficient rise is about 10 degrees. Try and adjust the valve so you will get at least a ten degree rise consistently with the solar panels. Make sure you are turning the correct valve and not shutting off the return line completely.
