SOURCE: On sensor dry, dryer remains at 1 minute for hours...will not shut off automatically

Check your venting. Insure it is not clogged as this can cause the unit to stick at 6min mark. Just before the cool down period.

Make sure that the vents are cleaned to include outside. Where it hook on to the dryer make sure that the housing is cleaned also. That should take care of the problem. Thankyou and if you need more help let us know.

SOURCE: LG Dryer Sensor

The moisture sensor is in the lint filter. Remove 4 screws from inside the drum and you have the sensor attached by 2 wires. On my dryer I disconnected then reconnected these 2 wires, reassembled the lint trap and auto dry works fine again

You would need to get a multimeter and run continuity tests on the thermistor relays as well as the heater which ever one shows you no continuity would be the one that you would have to replace the heater is located on this diagram as part number 110 the relays would be part number 130 and 140 please message me back if you have any further questions and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped in your appliance situation Thanks again
.ps. the dryer is most likely stopping do to one of the relays they control the tempreture of the machine and if it starts getting to hot then it would shut the machine down

I have Samsung gas dryer model DV410. no heat, replaced two thermal fuse and hi low limit. Now it only works with timed cycle mode. the rest mode, it runs only for least the 5 minutes and shut off.

timed cycle mean dryer not on sensor dry mode. check wire connection on moisture sensor bars (i think you forget to put 2 wire connector put together). when you use other cycle dryer use moisture sensor to dry cloths so sensor not working dryer will stop in 5 minutes or so because dryer think there are no wet cloths to dry. hope this help you.

Samsung model dv5451 cooling light stays on

I am assuming when you turn it on, after couple of minutes goes off.
If you are on sensor drying and have no load or too little, then clothing might not touch the sensor enough (to show it is wet), and therefore microprocessor shuts unit down "thinking" everything is dry already. Try time dry.
Alternative: defective main board, sensor, wire harness.Call for service.

Kenmore 700 series Dryer shuts down after a few minutes in heated cycle, runs forever with no problem in Air Dry (no heat) mode, I disassembled the entire machine drum, motor, vents and removed every spec...

Brian, look inside your drum for some curved strips of metal that may be 6-8 inches in length. There may be two of them that run parallel to each other about half an inch apart. This is your moisture sensor. If you use dryer sheets like a lot of people do you may have an issue where there is a build up of residue from the dryer sheets on the sensors. Take some rubbing alcohol and some cotton balls or a rag and wipe down the sensor strips. If they come back blue in color there is build up on the strips. Keep wiping down until you no longer get any blue color. That build up can make the dryer think that the clothes are dry and shuts the dryer down. Hope this helps, I have done this on a couple of different dryers and it made a big difference.

Dryer starts but shuts off after a minute, and only does it on sensor dry

Clean the gunk off the sensors where they can sense wetness is what I would try

Bosch Axxis WTE86300US turns itself off after ten minutes, won't turn back on for a few minutes after that

I would bet you have a bad sensor. There are a couple of sensors that monitor heat. When it gets too hot they shut it down as a safety precaution. Once it is cool enough it will start up again.

Dryer cuts off before clothes are dry.

Might be the thermal protector in the motor that is shutting down the dryer, if motor overheats this is what will happen. Make sure there is no lint build up around the motor, if not the motor is bad. does the dryer start right away after shutting off or do you have to wait? If you have to wait the motor is bad.
