Hi Andr Frchette, we want to help you with your question, but we need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box?
does the paper feed from the top or is it in a cassette under the printer ? Move the side parts of the paper to hold the paper firmly and check if there is any paper jammed in the paper feed path.

SOURCE: Paper won't load. Media loaded incorrectly.

Okay.. 1st off I'm probably going to the jumped on for this... But.. I fix and/or make them work printers, computers and all sorts of electronic gear. For a living... Yes .. the manufacturer will tell you not to use alcohol to clean the rollers. but it does work. Windex (ammonia) will clean the heads at times. I also use Scotch brite pads to clean the pickup rollers. We get them in about 8x10 inch pads.
I will spay some alcohol on the end where the pick up roller is. Place the pad in normal paper tray. Most printers have a cam shaped one on the right, left or in the middle. That gets the paper moving. The pad is way to thick to actually move and will cause a jam indication on the printer. But what happens is the roller will slip on the pad and clean itself. Pretend you cleared the jam a couple of times and the printer will try to pick up the 'paper' and jam again. A couple of these and the pick up roller (cam shaped) will usually be good to go. The other option (the best) is to buy a new pickup roller for the printer. But cleaning will work for the short term. What happens on most printers is the roller gets very smooth from normal use and then won't pick up the paper for the rest of the trip through the printer. I have used a piece of fine grade sand paper, but you have to hold it so it won't go through the printer and it makes a gritty mess... Once I orderd a 'printer cleaner' from HP and all it was, was a couple of pieces of scotch brite glued to a fancy holder to match the spacing of the rollers. That's when I started using sheets of the stuff. Just pretend they are a piece of printer paper. In the worst case I have used belt dressing and then alcohol to clean most of it off. Alcohol has a tendency to soften the rubber on the pickup roller. That's why the company says don't use it. But you can by rubber rejuvenator that is mainly alcohol.. Go figure.........

SOURCE: The paper will not feed correctly. The Right side is getting jam

First jam a paper on purpose then you will know where the jam is . and you will also know where to find the paper which is under the white cylinder.

My printing result slants to the left. how can i resolve this? did maintenance on control panel but does not work.

its very simple dude...!!!!
if your paper feed tray is at the back...
just put your hand into the paper feed tray and you can feel a small roller which rotates very easily.....
just turn it anti-clockwise(it is unidirectional-turns only one way) adjust it a little and print something white and notice if the paper is drawn in slant...!!!

Printed copy is angled on page

This caused by slipping feed rollers--it's not pulling on the side that the paper is slanted toward. Need to open the case to get to the rollers, then rub the rollers clean with dry fingers. Vacuum out any paper debris.

Image print on paper slanting

Does it only happen when you copy through the auto feeder or from the contact glass too? If it's just from the feeder, then the rollers in the feeder are slipping and not feeding the paper straight, and need to be cleaned/replaced. If it happens from the contact glass, then it is most likely the rollers that move the paper through the machine that need cleaning - primarily the registration roller, but really all rollers from the paper tray to the exit should probably be serviced, and/or replaced where necessary.

My computer isn't printing the way it should. It is a CANNON 1800

Hello michelle9mit,

First of all you will need to clean the surfaces of the DRUM, and paper feed path and assembly. This might be the cause of most of your problems. I would suggest also making sure the paper feed sensors are cleaned and tested for the proper voltage levels. As far as the slanting paper the paper feed mechanism may have to be cleaned and aligned. I would also make the suggestion that if you do not have a mechanical background you should get a professional service center to do the work for you, but first get an estimate on the cost and if it is too much, you may want to consider getting a new printer and getting a maintenance plan for it.

I hope this helps,

Thank you,

Vertical lines slanted on photocopier

Is it the same result when you place the original on the glass as when you use the Automatic feeder? If copy is straight when you use the glass, then the rollers on the feeder need cleaning (with a damp cloth) -Lift the cover where paper feeds and clean grey rollers, also, and more importantly, clean the darker roller which has a plastic white roller pressed to it with a heavy spring assembly.
If copies are slanted either way you make a copy, make sure to check the paper guides in the tray are snug

Check that paper and paper tray are installed correctly. Print from MP tray and check if it's still slanted. If not, the problem is related to the tray and the feed rollers for the tray. Check also these feed roller and separation pad.
