Last week, I read; "needs new battery." Now I plug in and after a flash, nothing.

Did you replace the battery when that error message came up? If not, then that's the first thing you need to do. If it still won't work, then you may have a bad battery or charging connection in the unit causing it not to start up even when plugged in. You can get a new battery from Garmin or if you don't want to deal with the hassle (especially if it is still under warranty) then send it right to them. Let me know how this turns out.

My hp 530 laptop has suddenly stopped powering up in the last 24 hours. When plugged in and even when not plugged in an amber light flashes approx 5 times in the front of the laptop when the power button...


The problem could be with the battery. Try plugging the laptop in with the battery removed and see if it boots. If it does, then the problem is most likely a dead battery; but before you go out and buy a new one, leave the battery out of the laptop for about 24 hours and let it drain its battery, and then give it one last try. If it still doesn't boot, then its possibly the motherboard and the laptop needs to be replaced. Best of luck!

My new BB Bold 9700 battery suddenly drained while plugged in?!?!


keeping it plugged in shouldn't have hurt the battery. i would return it if you have a warrenty left... otherwise i would connect to bb desktop mngr and reset to factory settings.(origional settings your phone came with)

Wheelchair battery charger will flash red and not complete charge. new batteries -- just got them last week. The charger behaves well in front of the tech. I've looked for a brand name on the charger, but...


You didn't mention what brand & model of wheelchair/scooter you have. To properly check to see if the charger is working correctly is testing the total voltage of both batteries together while the charger is plugged in to the controller joystick. First check the total voltage of both the batteries together before you plug the charger in. The total voltage of both fully charged batteries together should be around 24.5 to 26.5 volts. Plug the charger into the charging port on the powerchair/scooter. Now with the charger on, the voltage should read at the very least 1+ volts more than the total voltage measured earlier. If less the charger is bad and will need to be replaced.

My battery died last week i got a new installed now my radio and cd and my clock not working i put new fuse in still not working


you need the owners manuel. there are some weird solutions th these problems. they vary with the accesories. try calling the service dept. at the dealer. they can be really helpful in most cases.

The first thing I would try is to get a new power adaptor. You can find a OEM on ebay probably for about $20. Just type in your model number on the search section on ebays homepage.
