Question about Whirlpool LCE4332P 2.1 cu. ft. Top Loading Washer
The water level light will then begin to flash. Sometimes it will not drain, other times it will drain but not spin. Thinking it has to do with low voltage in my old apartment.
This is not likely to be low voltage. Do you know what your voltage is?
Which model washer? What is the minimum voltage rating?
The mostly likely problem is that the valves have failed. These are something that is more likely to fail in washers. Probably the water level light flashes because it is not draining when it starts to spin. You can have the valves replaced by a professional or you might try it yourself. For example, see this part: http://www.partselect.com/PartDetail.aspx?Inventory=1583805&SourceCode=6 . They even have do-it-yourselvers' stories.
