SOURCE: An Rca tv turns on

If it turns off going standby, and led is on, then it is on protect, and remaining parts must be tested.

If it turns off completely, and you can restart it with the On button, then the board with controls is faulty.
If it does switch off completely (no light), and only comes back on after unplugging power cord for a while, then there is a different internal fault that is not starting protection circuit , but causing shutdown.
After double checking the PSU board, you will have to test a couple of ICs on main controller board, the deflection circuit and flyback transformer. Check also for broken solder joints and thaces of shorts on all boards and components (eg. burnt areas, blown capacitors), as a short can potentially cause sudden shut down.

Here schematics.

Here all parts for your TV.

SOURCE: what is the purpose of the front audio/video jacks

The front jacks on all VCR's are for video cameras etc. Generally VCR's have one or two scart sockets on the back for connection to TV's. If only one, or you haven't enough scarts on the back of your TV, I suggest you get a switching box like the one in the picture below (found on Amazon). It will solve any connection problems and recording issues.

I have a Hitachi Ultravision TV Model #50ux53k v7h002332. The remote is working and also changed the Batteries. The Tv is not reacting to the remote like it should. It randomly will not turn on or off and...

if you have to hold the remote very close it is likely a bad remote receiver in the front control panel; the only other reason would be a dirty lens there or at the top of the remote.

Let me know if all manual front buttons work normal.

Is there any way i can put the PS3 and the Hitachi tv throught the cinema system at the same time?

Possibly. I believe the HTC550 only has one audio input so you'll have to work around this. Check and see if you Hitachi TV has a headphone jack. If it does, patch the PS3 audio through the TV. Connect the TV to the HTC550 through the headphone jack using a 3.5mm to RCA cable pictured in the link.

Where are the amps and how do i by pass them for the stereo

The amps are located inside the radio. Most in-dash receivers that provide for "pre-amp outputs" also called "low level outputs" do so by providing female RCA type jacks. These are often found at the end of a short (4 - 6 inch) cable and are usually color coded red & white or red & black (some receivers provide a yellow RCA jack for video in / out, too). To use these RCA audio jacks, you need to realize that one jack is for the left channel source and the other is for the right channel source for a stereo signal. You will have to connect a compatible plug and cable of enough length to extend to a remote amplifier's RCA input jacks. The vehicle's speakers would also need to be connected directly to the same amplifier's output terminals. Using the two audio (left and right) RCA jacks will only allow the radio to control balance of the left and right audio, no fader (front and rear) control is possible. To get fader control, you'd have to either have a radio with four RCA low level output jacks (front L & R *and* rear L & R), or use the radio's speaker (or high level output) wires and connect them to the amplifier's speaker (or high level) input terminals.

All unused receiver wires should be terminated in a wirenut or securely wrapped in electrical tape to prevent accidental contact with grounded metal or other wires behind the dash.

I hope this helps!

Hitachi 50UX53K Ultravision will not stay on

The set is going into shut down mode for avariety of reasons. Some of the more common problems are vertical o/p ic bad connection or failure, poor solder connection usually in the power or hv section or possibly comb filter circuit breakdown causing 12V line to short. This set incorporate 7 or more shut down circuits and any one of them could be triggering - more trouble shooting is required

Wireless head set connection

Your set surely has some kind of audio output in the rear if not under a front panel.
It could be in several different forms; very common is a left/right set of (RCA type) jacks color coded red (right) and white (left).
It could also be a 'Line out' jack that supplies a standardized level for use with an external audio system; this one is probably the best choice for your useage. You may have to buy an adaptor cable to connect the two devices.
