SOURCE: threading a sewing machine

What do you mean you are unable to pull the bobbin thread through, elaboration would help solve the problem...
I suspect I'm having the same problem with you if it's anything to do with the top thread looping around in the bobbin holder.

Damn machine!

Presumably neither of you has or knows how to adjust your bobbin tension so, I'm going to presume it's your hook. Make sure you are threading the machine coorectly then you'll need to remove your needle plate by removing the two screws, pull out your hook (this is the part your bobbin sits in) but make sure you note which way it sits inside your machine. Have a look at the plastic hook for any sharp edges or burs, you may need to replace your hook or try and gently sand (400grit) the plastic if possible. The key part of the hook is the small blunted point as this is what catched the loop of thread behind the needle. Please make sure that when you put your hook back in, that it is on the left side of that little guard sticking out on the lower right of your machine.

Needle thread does not pick up bobbin thread on my baby lock sewing machine

check needle thread tension is tight enough
you may have to check the needle / hook timing as if that is not correct , the hook will not be positioned to pick up the needle thread to make the loop
take it in to a sewing machine repair shop for a service

When I sew it only sews about 4 stitches the top thread breaks & sometimes the threads are all tangled in the bobin area. I found a small spring next to a larger spring loose. Where does the little...

You may want to take it to be looked at by a professional if there is a part loose.

I have constant problems with thread breaking and being tangled in the bobbin area with this machine. It can usually be remedied by adjusting your tension. Also, class 15 bobbins stink for this machine (yes, it says they're compatable, but they seem to be 1/8 of an inch too shallow and constaly become unthreaded from the bobbin casing). Try SA 156 metal ones.

Top thread - not bobbin thread - bunches up under fabric where feed dogs are when I'm embroidering.

this is a top thread tension problem . make shure thread is between tension plates and spring is contacting the plate if the tension number is high

It is stoping and says the thread is broke but it is not so I push the start and it sews a few more stitches and the same thing I can keep pushing start and it goes again. Barbie

I am not 100% sure on this machine but on most emb. machines they have a sensor connected to the take up spring. When the spring goes up and down the machine thinks things are ok. When the spring does not move it thinks the thread is broken. So...make sure the upper threading is correct. Make sure you have bobbin thread. If this all is ok then the spring may be broken. The spring is located where you make the "U" turn at the bottom of threading and go back up. Hope this helps.

Place thread spool on the spool pin at back right top of machine. From there, thread through 1) rear thread guide (little hook), 2) front thread guide (front hook), 3) down and up through the thread tension dial from right to left so that thread picks up the thread spring check (the little spring on the left of the tension dial). 4) Through the thread take-up-lever, from right to left (the little lever that goes up and down). 5) Through the thread guard and guides (one on the front, one on the needle arm). 6) Through the needle, front to back. Sewing machine repaired but still bunches up

Either no tension on the top thread or damaged needle plate or possibly a broken hook driver spring

Bobbin case is moving out of place

I was having the same problem with my machine and finally the spring broke. I couldn't find any parts for this so my husband made me a new spring out of a coke can! LOL!! Anyway, he messed with it for a while and it kept doing it. He figured out that it was not the spring but the other piece under the spring was not pushed up far enough to keep the bobbin case in place so he took a screw driver and pushed it forward toward the bobbin case and now my bobbin case does not move!! And the machine is sewing perfect! At least for now. Anyway, it's not the spring or the thread adjusting screw!
