Question about Janome Sewing Machines
How do I get the case to stay in place?
Check for the retainer action of the bobbin case to see in there is a part broken off that holds the bobbin in the case or carrier
from what you describe , with the thread bunching up etc, I suspect that the needle thread tension is too loose and causing the problems
if so then the bunching and problems can be from the bunched thread pushing the bobbin out of position
take it in for a service and if necessary , repair
