When the alarm C9 appears, to facilitate fault-finding a parameter providing a more detailed indication has

been introduced.

The parameter is C9 and is found in the ron family.

The possible cause of the anomaly can be found (see next table) according to the value of the parameter C9.

E.g.: With an automatic hood type the alarm C9 appears.

Access the parameter C9 in the ron family.

Assuming the value displayed is:

20 ? During lifting, the current absorbed by the lifting motor has exceeded the threshold. This can happen if

a rack or other heavy material was placed on the hood.

WARNING:

Alarms C2, C6 and C7 lock the boiler temperature control.

Alarms C3, C4 and C5 lock the tank temperature control.

In the case of alarms C6 and C7, the boiler waiting phase is not executed (the rinse may be performed

with cold water) and, during the initial warm-up and subsequent rinses ( btF > 0 ), the boiler heating

phase is not executed.

In the case of an open probe error ( C4, C6 e C10 ), the displayed temperature is 10°C

In the case of a shorted probe error ( C5,C7 e C11 ) , the displayed temperature is 99°C.



E1 Communication error

Is the connection between main board and control panel correct? Are the connectors correctly

connected?

Are connector contacts clean?

E2 Tank temperature low

Does the tank heating element work properly?

Are the connectors correctly connected?

Are the dishwasher feed voltage and current correct?

Is the relay RL4 (see electrical wiring diagram - RL4 relay of AP2 board) on the board disconnected

or faulty?

E3 Boiler temperature low

Does/do the boiler heating element/s work properly?

Are the connectors correctly connected?

Does the possible remote control switch connected to the heating element work correctly?

Is there power at the remote control switch input terminals?

Do boiler relays (see electrical wiring diagram - RL1/ RL2/ RL3 relays of AP2 board) work properly?



CAUTION: IF THERE IS A MALFUNCTION ON RELAY RL1 AND THE BOILER HEATING ELEMENTS

ARE FED BY MEANS OF A REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH, THE BOARD DOES NOT

HAVE TO BE REPLACED; JUST MOVE THE BOILER HEATING ELEMENT CONNECTOR TO

ONE OF THE TWO FREE POSITIONS ON THE BOARD.

CAUTION: WHEN ONE BRANCH OF THE HEATING ELEMENT DOES NOT WORK AND THE

OTHER TWO CONTINUE TO FUNCTION, ON REACHING THE SET TEMPERATURE VALUE,

ALARM 3 DISAPPEARS AND REAPPEARS IN THE SUBSEQUENT RINSE PHASE. THIS

ALSO OCCURS WHEN A PHASE IS MISSING.

There is no wiring diagram for the bundles of wires coming from chip control board.
As general rule, these things are made to last 10 years, and afterwards will not function or be repairable. It's like a window air conditioner, except connected to water pipes, and connected to computer chip and multiple sensors, each susceptible to failure, and then the machine is used 24 hours a day, 365.
Designs have changed continually from 2009 to 2010 to 2012 models.
It's likely you got a nice piece of junk with depleted anode rod and failed sensors that stopped working and somebody got rid of it because it wasn't repairable.

Heat pump will not turn on


I would call an expert, testing needs to be done, but based on what I have seen it may be the control board of the heat pump is defective.

How do I connect my Jandy AE-TI heat pump to my intermatic T104P3


1) Copy following link for wiring illustration ... assuming timer is supposed to control pool pump:

2) T104P is 240Volt (208-277V) SPDT timer in P plastic outdoor enclosure.

4) Page 13 of Jandy manual shows single-phase residential wiring diagram.

5) First of all, power to main contactor is not interruped by timer, since this powers 24Volt transformer that controls the chip board and general operation.

6) The timer is connected to 'Auto-heat contactor.'
The confusion is what Load connects to this contactor? The water pump? Load is shown on diagram as 'pump time clock.'
I assume the load is the PUMP??

Some newer heat pumps have a circut board that overrides your stat. Those you must program the stat as if it was a conventional. If your system is old here is the typical set-up. You will have this order. G=green wire, W1=white wire, O=orange wire, Y=yellow wire, C=blue wire, R=red wire. W1 is also called aux. G controls the fan, Y controls your compressor, W controls your heat, O controls your reversing valve, R is your 24v power, C is your 24v common. If this hookup does not work you will need to be able to understand your electrical diagram in order to fix the wiring issues and a professional might be required.

I need a wiring diagram for a starndard residential split a/c system. Just the outdoor section is fine.


Hi, if this is just a split standard heating and cooling unit, and not a split heat pump, all you need to do is pull stat wire from the indoor unit control board to control the condenser with 5 conductors, but you will only use 2 wires for the control of the condenser. Normally, the red and white tie to the 2 control wires of the contactor. Back at the control board, red to red and white to the Y or yellow terminal. You will also need to set your disconnect box for your high voltage near the condenser, where you will be coming from your breaker to supply high voltage to run the motors and compressor. Very easy to do. If it is a heat-pump, you will need to pull at least 8 conductor thermostat wire to wire this up. I would also need to know what terminals and kind of thermostat you have, and if you are using heat strips for second stage of heat. When you say standard unit, you will only need 2 control wires from the indoor to the outdoor unit, along with the high voltage. Please keep me posted and let me know if you need more help on this. A wiring schematic wouldn't be needed if its just a standard condenser.

Need a wiring diagram for a 1977 GE heat pump air handler


your not going to be able to find one. Its just your basic wiring like pretty much every Trane on the market.

Only difference would be the lack of any type of control board. Back then, it was all wires relays.

Heat not blowing on heat cycle


Have to know what kind of heat it is, Gas, Electric or Electric Heat Pump.

Heat pumps, when air over air type, have an extra setting on the thermostat labeled Emergency Heat, Although these thermostats can work on the other types of heating as well.

Both modern Gas and electric furnaces have the blower controlled by a blower board. The flame and or heating elements can also be controlled by the same or a separate board. SO you could have a board problem, or a safety switch or other symptom causing a safety switch to trip off on you.

Consult with your diagram and find something you can recognize then trace the wires down and follow to where you get the power to turn on the heat (usually always R feeds thermostat and W feeds Heat). Colors of the attached wires means nothing at this point. Look for the terminal designations not colors.
