Red light when power is "ON"

Have these nice speakers for few months connected to a Dell notebook 1521. First week, my power-on light was green color. Since then, color is red when i put power "on". My VS4121 seems to play OK, but i wonder if a red light indicate some kind of problems ?

Splice Bose speaker to connect to receiver

Each speaker has two 4 Ohm drivers. Each speaker has a connector with 4 pins. From left to right they are + - - +. Say 1 2 3 4 . If you want a 8 Ohm speaker connect 2 and 4 together. Now 1 goes to your amplifier (+) and 3 to your amplifier (-). In yor case join black with blue. Now red goes to the amplifier red and green to the amplifier black.

Hi - I bought sony speakers and need to know how to install them. I have a Lexmarkx2690 - color 3 in 1.

Unpack the speakers from the box and set them up how you would like them to go. There should be a power cable that needs to be plugged into the wall. Plug that in. Then there should be a green audio cable that comes from one of the speakers. On the back of your computer, there will be three or more audio ports. A blue Line in, a Green audio out, and a Red microphone. Plug the green speaker wire into the green Audio Out jack.

What do you need to know about the printer?

Is there a on of switch and is the green or red light to be on

There is no main AC power switch on the BU series; it's in standby mode whenever it's plugged in.

When playing music normal LED color should be green. After no signal for 10 minutes or so it will turn back to Red (Standby)

My infinity ps210 stops putting out any bass. It was working fine a few days ago but it just stops working without any obvious reason. I bought it fourteen months ago from amazon and I've hardly used it....

Hey. I have two PS210's One popped and stopped working 9 months in to it. Under warranty the technician said that Infinity produced these speakers wit ha known heat related problem. Some part burns up. He replaces them all the time. You can expect about a year's service as my seconf one just popped and died. It costs about $153 to fix it here in phoenix. Will never buy Infinity again from what I know

Internal wiring schematic for a JBL 4311 WX-A

the conductor xxx\blk is the minus or black( from speaker) the outher is positive\red pin from speaker) the woofer is bigest speaker inside is connected on the crossover at low output, tweeter at high output, if you connect wrong you can burn speakers and crossover, you can test with very low volume on amplifier.

1st connect low to woofer, it only her low freq below 500Hz like drums and bass, if connect on med out the speaker is working as handpocket old radio audio. if connect on high the speaker is like no audio out. (the woofer take about 60-75% of amp power).

2nd connect the midrange at mid output you can listen to human voice cristal clear. if connect on high output you listem like esteric female shouting.

And connect the tweeter at the empty output

Take particular attention on polarity terminals, if you exchange the polarity you have a moofle sound traped inside of speaker, and some structered box noise who may open the box panels in future.

Instalation instructions required

Uhmmm. . .okay. . .I would use nothing less than 16AWG speaker cable. Do not run the speaker cable parallel in close proximity to any AC wiring. Speaker cable rated to run through walls with usually be color coded red and black. Connected the red to the red on the speaker and red on your home theatre receiver. Do the same for the black. If speaker cable insulation is clear, look closely for subtle markings or writing on the insulation. The writing will only be on one of the two wires. Designate that as the POS or PLUS or + or RED. Connected it to the red on the speaker and the red on the back of your home theatre receiver. The other is by default the black and connect it to like colors. Repeat for all 5, or 7 speakers in your theatre. Your subwoofer probably has a seperate amplifier, so it gets it's power from it's own AC power plug. . .so plug it in. The sound coming from the Home Theatre receiver will be low-power and will carry on an RCA cable. Look for the subwoofer output on the home theatre and connect it to the input on the subwoofer. There may be a right and a left input on the woofer. . .it doesn't matter which you plug it into. . .either one will do.

Cannot connect my surround sound altec lansing system to my compu

The first thing you can do is go to to download the manual. Secondly all you have to do is match the colors of the wires to the imports in the back. You have five speakers. Two have gray wires, two have red and one has blue. If you also notice each speaker has two wires. One a solid color, the other striped with black. For instance, put the solid red wire into the red import and the red wire with the black stripe into the black import. Repeat this with all the other wires. The easiest way to hook it up to your computer or laptop is to take one of the aux wires (the wires with the yellow/green/black tips). It doesn't matter which one. Put into you headphone import on your computer or laptop. Then put the other side into the Aux on the subwoofer. Located on the front. Turn on the power on the back. Then hit the aux button on the remote. That should work....

Hooking up Coby Csp-94 Speaker to HDTV "no directions"

The green, black and beige cable is non-standard and proprietary meaning that Coby has defined their purpose which hopefully is described in your user guide. It would be worth a few dollars to buy the properly color-coded cables to uncomplicate your setup. Buy cables (or cable sets) that have the same color coding as your TV jacks along with the cable suggested below.
There are several ways to connect to an HDTV system and these are normally standard as previously described.
The red and white are for right and left channels and it isn't uncommon to see a three cnductor cable with one not connected since one of the methods of connection is to supply audio via two cables, video (composite) via a 3rd which is plugged into a corresponding jack, normally colored yellow. Audio cables aren't really required to carry the mix of much higher frequencies of composite video.
If you have the following connectors, try this:
- S-Video (this does not contain any audio information and requires an S-Video cable) - Right (red) and left (white) audio paths.    The S-Video connection provides a better signal that gives you a noticeably sharper picture. This setup is selected from the TV's input source menu.
