I AM USING HP PAVILION ENTERTAINMENT PC please I kept a password on my PC but I have forgotten it.

you have to do something called a system recovery this will delete all your memory but you can get help saving the memory from geek squad if you are willing to pay $100 anyway the system recovery requires a disk if you dont have it get it from tech support but who know there could be other options

IF YOU HAVE DISK INSERT IT AND INSTALL ....IF YOUVE DOWNLOADED THE DRIVERS CLICK ON THE PACKAGE WHICH IS A SELF EXTRACTING FILE AND INSTALL FILES ONCE EXTRACTED.

or if not then find the wireless Logo around the Laptop then just turn it on.

I was having a similar issue. My volume button worked fine muting and unmuting the volume, the light just stayed red either way.

I went into Device Manager, then expanded the Sound, Video and Game Controller options, I rolled back the driver and it was an instant fix for me :)
