The hose to a faucet sprayer has been cut away but is still connected to the faucet, will this affect the flow of water to the faucet if so how do you have to remove the rest of the hose?

iF YOU NO LONGER WANT A SPRAY HOSE, SIMPLY UNSCREW THE HOSE IN A COUNTERCLOCKWISE DIRECTION. a 1/4" BRASS CAP OR AN 1/8" BRASS PLUG IS USED TO PLUG THE HOLE. uSE TEFLON TAPE ON THE THREADS.

I see hose repair parts in house and garden stores. How exactly do they work?

Hi Colleen:
Easy as 1-2-3
1- Cut off the bad fitting
2- Slip the clamp over the hose and push the replacement fitting into the hose
3- Align the clamp and tighten it.

I recently installed a Pfister Cagney Single control kitchen faucet with side spray. The spray has no pressure. The water from the faucet is great. What could be the problem?

Could be trash got into hose( i.e., teflon tape, brass shavings, etc.). I suggest that you turn off water, disconnect the hose and try flushing water through the hose with no sprayer attached. If water goes through, then you have a stoppage in the sprayer. The face of the sprayer usually unscrews allowing you to check if there is trash in it.

usually if its leaking and you have the same replacement then just reuse the compression nut and furrow and it doesn't hurt to use a little pipe dope or just unscrew the packing nut and change out the the valve stem

How do I remove the spray hose from the brass connector under the sink?

Hi,
On the side of the brass there should be a clip or a pin that you can pop off... a knife or screw driver will work to snap it out of there... then the hose will just pull down out of the fitting...

You need to remove the sprayhead and hose from faucet and underneath you will see a brass threaded tailpiece that the mounting nut is connected to you need to turn the threaded piece counter clockwise. The faucet came with a paddle handle tool that fits in the brass tailepiece but I have used a basin wrench carefully to loosen without damaging threads
