Anything that you can pick off a tree, get out of the sea, dig up from the ground or get from the air is called natural resources
you have to be a lot more specific if you want a better answer so write more details in your next post as posts are not linked

Error code c4 13

C4 13 is probably PC board failure.
Call Rheem and they will send new PC board.
Or it could be sensor failure, or other cause, but generally PC board.

Imagine if your computer needed a new motherboard. Same with replacing tankless PC board. You would expect your computer to have more problems soon.

Error code c7 and 12 on an ecosense natural gas water heater

Before calling service technician, copy following link for ecosense tankless troubleshooting resources.
C7 is communication failure with remote, and C12 is flame failure.
Multiple error codes could mean bad circuit board, loose wire, low gas pressure, or simple communication problem with remote control.

I have a Rheem rtg-74pvn-2 tankless water heater installed in 03/09. Intermittently the hot water stops when only the hot water tap is on. No error codes appear. Bill W.

Before calling service technician, open following links for resources including Rheem chat and possible manual:

Typical tankless manual says to have yearly service which includes checking household plumbing, gas supply, vent and condensation, check sensors for loose wires, clean and inspect burner parts and ignition factors etc.

Fixya is always less expensive than a service call, but does not take place of service call since you will be doing the work yourself, on a complicated appliance that is affected by perfect cooperation of internal parts, and external factors.

Recently i got a hotwater heater installed in my home, i was told it was for natural gas and i believed the "experienced salesman". turns out they rigged a propane hotwater heater into my homes...

Those dirty crooks, Only kidding. They did the same thing to me a while back, except it was a natural gas heater with lp tank out in the yard, bought it from the gas co who services the tank, found out they ordered a dozen heaters, all of them natural gas. I said to the guy, do these need to be switched over or jetted or something? He says why, I said because it says natural gas only. It worked fine, just smudged black smoke out. He brought out another heater and swapped it out, seems you can't change the burner? Don't make sense. Anyway, I would take it back to the place you got it and say get up the coins, It cost $400 to get the plumber back to hook this thing up!! And we have no hot water. And my shotgun has a hair trigger. I would say it is dangerous enough to get his attention on the matter without going to court. Hope this helps.
