Question about VIA Computers & Internet

Blackberry Link will not let me connect to my PC via USB. But my device manager says I am connected. I can't synchronize my data.

I have been synching like this for years. I thought it was the USB port, but Device Manager says it is working.

Has the OS changed;- Win7 to win10? I had exactly the same issues as my Mac changed from Yossemite to Sierra. Mac no longer support BlackBerry. My win7 laptop stopped accepting Link after a windows upgrade. Gave up and I now have an iPhone.

I just cant get my blackberry curve to pair or sync


Hi,

Do you have blackberry desktop manager with you.If you have connect your phone with USB Cable to pc then start the application in your PC then click OK if you receive any warning message.

Type the password of your cueve device.

Click the "synchronization" option in the column of the left side of the screen and then "synchronization" button on right

Type the password if you configured in your phone

Select data which you want to sync.Contacts,messages etc will automatically sync,

Here is how you do it:

1Install Blackberry Desktop Manager Softwarewhich included in your Blackberry Installation CD. If you don’t haveone, you may download software from Here
2Make sure you set an Outlook profile that the Desktop Manager can use.3Start the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.4Connect your Blackberry with your computer via USB cable and allow Blackberry device driver install.5Click on Synchronize in BlackBerry Desktop Manager.6Activate the Synchronize organizer data checkbox: BlackBerry Synchronize.7Click on the Configuration tab. Then, click on the Configure synch: BlackBerry Synchronize Configuration.8Check the data you want your BlackBerry being synchronized to. Once installed, connect your BlackBerry to your computer via the USB sync cable. Open Desktop Manager, and click the Application Loader. On the right, you will see Update your device software. Click the Start Button, and if your BlackBerry is not on the latest Handheld Software, an update will appear. Select the update, and run the install. Be sure to select the option that backs up and restores your data. Once started, do not shut down your computer, or disconnect the USB sync cable as this could damage the device.

Once completed, your BlackBerry will restart and you will have the latest version available. This version has been known to correct various issues.

How to import calendar and contacts from outlook to BB


Hello,

Step 1 Install Blackberry Desktop Manager Manager from
http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/

Step2
Connect blackberry to your PC using a USB cable and let blackberry device driver install. When device driver install is complete, it will alert "hardware installed successfully" in your windows task tray.

Step3
Run Blackberry Desktop software and choose SYNCHRONIZE option.

Step4
Now choose CONFIGURE and you may select CONTACTS, CALENDAR, NOTES, and TASKS databases by clicking check boxes next to each. After you select each item, it will ask which application you would like to sync it with, you will choose OUTLOOK for all.

Step5
Now click OK out of all windows until you are at the main blackberry desktop manager screen. click SYNCHRONIZE. Make sure that the SYCHRONIZE ORGANIZER DATA check box is checked. Now click SYNCHRONIZE NOW to begin synchronization.
