Replace the pump or have it rewound at a motor shop it will take about a week. it is bad and you cant fix it your self normally.

The title description is a Hayward Super II 1.5 HP but the part number you gave is for a StaRite MaxiGlas pump. Either way the motor needs to be replaced.
The best way to find out what you need is to look at the part number on your impeller. With that information whoever you buy the motor from will be able to get you the correct pump and seals..

My hayward pool pump not working, forget to close the air vent before pump started and is water allover the pump, what to do?

Water sprayed on the pump occasionally shouldn't hurt it but it might cause a ground fault circuit interupter (GFCI) to trip. If you turn on the pump and literally nothing happens then most likely the the GFCI has tripped. If it hums then this is a different issue. If you have a volt meter you can open the timer box and check whether power is available to the timer. If no power is available in the timer then it confirms that the pump is probably ok. Checking your circuit breaker panel for a tripped breaker or finding a tripped GFCI then either one can be reset and your pump will probably run without a problem.

I hope this helps.

Pump is tripping circuit breaker

If your pump is tripping the circuit breaker there is a very good change that the motor is bad. you can change the motor or purchase a complete new pump. I would pull the pump and take it to a local motor repair shop and have them check it for you.

Pump trips circuit breaker/where can i get a wiring diagram for this pump?

The owners manual does not have information on the pumps. You would need to get the model information off of the motor, and request that information from the manufacturer.

Otherwise, all motors have the wiring diagram right on the side of them.

My hayward 1hp super pump hums when i turn it on but doesn't turn or pump it eventually trips the circuit breaker inside

Inside pump is a difram , it most likely is stuck, some times if you shut off pump, turn back on a few times it might release itself, but most likely needs to be replaced. Let me know, mike from fixya.com

6 years is a good time - you must have house for your pump :)

If you are close to a pool shop - take it in and get it tested - somtimes it will just need a service.
