2001 VW Beetle 2.0 heater won t heat up

If you flushed the coolant with the thermostat in, chances are you didn't flush the coolant. Regardless, it's easiest to check the controls inside first. Does the blower fan work? Does the air flow change from floor to vent, to dash as it's supposed to? Does the A/C change temps when knob is turned from cold to hot? Post results.

Rear Floor Vent heat only

Sounds like your heater coolant hose door flap is broken or loose. May want to check behind the heater controls, if your components are mechanically operated. If electronically, may need to perform more troubleshooting before replacing this component.

2002 chev pu heater won't change to a/c -blows hot air all the time

The first thing to do here is have the AC system checked to make sure your refrigerant hasn't leaked out due to a failed seal or damaged condenser core.

My 99 chevrolet monte carlo z34 heat is not that hot and air works for defrost but not dash vents?

check radiator fluid level it take hot radiator fluid to pass through the heater core to produce the heat in your car VIA the fan. also check or replace your thermostat it could be bad and stuck in an open position thus radiator fluid not getting hot, no hot fluid no hot air
the other problem sounds like a duct hose under you dash has come loose locate and reattach.

I have a 1998 eddie bauer expedition and i cant get any heat to come out of my vents...i have installed a new heater core and a new thermostat and there is coolant in there and the blend door has been...

OK, if the heater core is getting hot, and you put a new thermostat in, then it seems to me that the blend door is not at the right angle in order to allow heat to blowout of the vents.

How was the blend door checked, I would ask?

Heat not working

Try locating the heater hoses. Start with the vehicle cool and turn it on and wait till the engine temperature reaches the correct temperature. This should send fluid through the heater hoses. Feel the heater hoses for a change in temperature. If there is no change in heat after a while the problem is in your thermostat. If one heater hose is hot while the other is not than the problem is in the heater block. If both hoses are heating up then the problem is probably in the climate control knobs or wiring that controls the blend doors or may even be the blend doors are broke and are not opening correctly to allow heat into the vents. This could also be a problem if the ac does not get cool either.

I have no heat in my 1995 dodge 1500 4x4 just changed my thermostat and i have no heat inside the cab. I checked both sides of my heater core hoses and they are hot. what sould i do next

You should see if the vent near the heater core is stuck. I had that happen once. It was in the position for the AC so it wasnt pushing the heat. plusthe vaccum line that operates the valve could of broke / rotted.
