Question about Audio Players & Recorders
This is what is known as the "black screen of death".
You will have to clear and reinstall the Firmware - but chances are- it will happen again.
Whenever you reset the zune press back left and the center button at the exact same time. it should work I feel your pain.
Remember to do this right after you see the zune symbol and when you see that white bar loading
Alternately, you can let the battery run out.
After that if it keeps on happening you can lock the zune and unlock it then press the middle button
If its the old school zune then if that does not work unplug in the head phones then plug it in then press play.
A Hard reset will erase all media and software on your zune. I would try it though as a last resort.
When the zune logo appears...
press and hold back + center + play buttons.
If you have done a recent update - delete it and try again.
