Question about Casio Watches
What model is your Casio watch?
For what you describe it would appear as if there is a problem with the cockwheels assembly on your Casio watch. Most likely as a result of a severe impact. hard enough to dislodge the retaining plates or break of the bottom of the minute hand spindle.
Hope this helps

The hands of an analog watch are often only press-fitted on the shafts (hour and minutes are tubular, seconds solid shaft) and the second hand has probably only slipped so it is no longer being driven. I suspect a watch-maker could reattach it for a small charge.

Absolutely astonished by this "solution" from escapement.
This watch is working perfectly - it is simply giving its "end of battery life warning".
