SOURCE: The receiver/remote of my logik ceiling fan has packedup.Model 272119 Serial G100351001 Receiver RL117 Where can I get a replacement part? preferably Logik but universal will do

To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability. Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have.
Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the sites.

Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops. Visit some on-line sites too, which deals with electronic spare parts.

I need to replace the remote, uc 7067rya

You should be able to get a universal remote for a ceiling fan at home depot or lowes. Be aware they only sell then WITH the remote and the receiver unit as a package. Be aware, you'll need to check the 4 "dip pin" positions on the receiver unit on the fan itself to program the new remote. Yes, you'll have a spare receiver left in the package unless you choose to install the new one. You may have to remove the fan to do this, as they're usually found in the canopy (where the fan hangs from the box in the ceiling.) Often, the dip switches are just left all "up," however, they could easily have been changed. Some fans are programmable now, and you can test the code without having to check the receiver in the fan (similar to an older TV remote.) If you're using this for a TV, Satellite dish, etc, you'll need to find a compatible one online (not necessarily that model, it's "UNIVERSAL" and follow the instructions that come with it. TV and Ceiling fan remotes operate totally differntly, so if you have a remote that does both tasks, it's fairly new technology, and you'll have to follow instructions for the one you purchase.

How to eliminate receiver/transmitter in hunter 28425

Open the box at the bottom of the ceiling fan, where the switch is. You should find the receiver inside there. You'll find one white wire connected to it, and two black wires also connected to it. Remove the white wire completely or cap it off with a wire nut. Connect the two black wires to each other with a wire nut. Reassemble the ceiling fan. If the problem was the receiver, then the problem is now gone because the receiver is gone.

CP-9308R receiver not working

Most places that sell ceiling fans will also sell the remote receivers, as they are mostly sold separately now. If you can get the model of the receiver and the fan, a sale person at a home improvement store should be able to find you a suitable replacement.

Hey dale. Sounds like either the integrated remote pack inside the fan housing might be bad, or the reversal switch part. If it has a switch on the fan housing to change it from forward and reverse, you could try going to a hardware store and replacing that switch. If that doesn't work, then it is probably a bad remote receiver pack iside the fan, it will be a bigger, probably black little box. If this is the case, your better off getting a new fan, as it will cost about the same. If your fan doesn't have a little switch to change blade direction, 9 out of 10 times it is the receiver pack. If your fan does have a switch for fan direction, there is a good chance it is a bad switch. It could also be both. After 10 years with the fan, you might seriously want to consider purchasing a new fan.

Are you talking about the receiver? If so connect wires from fan, White, black, blue to receiver white, black, blue. White to white and so on. Then connect the two wires from other side of receiver, white and black(or Red) to corresponding colors from ceiling. Then store receiver just above the ball in the ceiling mount plate, you will have to move the wires to the side and push it in. Hope this helps
