Never ever buy tyres as one tyre, always buy in pairs unless a tyre was damaged within a year, and you can get exactly the same type.

When you get a quote, ask for the total price as often garages will tell you the price of the tyre and then add on valves, balancing, fitting and then tax on top.

I've read a review regarding Tyre&Auto Southbourne Group, but I'm just curious if they can identify good tyres for my vehicle?Any good assessment?

Any good qualified and experienced tyre guy should be capable of suggesting a number of tyres to suit your application and pocket but unfortunately, such is business, there is a strong possibility those suggestions will be the most profitable for them rather than for you.

I suggest you do research on specialist forums, various tyre companies, enthusiasts and what the original equipment was. Motoring journalists sometimes carry out tyre comparison tests. The results of such tests are very useful.
The ones I have seen were printed in a popular magazine here (Hot Car or Car and Car Conversions) and the Goodyear brand is proved to be a good mid-performing tyre in every category.

The best gripping tyres I have ever driven on were Dunlops but the wear rate was terrible. The most forgiving tyres I have ever known were Continental Contacts. Michelins are expensive but give good mileage and a smooth ride and Uniroyals are reliable wet weather tyres.

When you have chosen the right tyres for you it will be time to shop around for good prices...

Im looking for a tyre pressure sensor for my renault laguna 2033 plate but not sure what im looking for or how to fit one thank you

1. The tyre has to be removed to fit the tyre valve/ sensor unit to the wheel. . Tyre dealers will do this for you when you supply the sensor.

2. Any renault dealer parts department can sell you a new sensor.

3. The new sensor has to be programmed to the car's tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

3. Here is a list of information about the Renault Laguna tyre pressure sensors to assist you. The 2nd link below shows a picture of the tyre valve/sensor unit that fits to your wheel.

What would cause tr cont light to come on after new tires

Hi Patrick it could be wheel spin new tyres have a wax on them from the mould in the factory. If its not this make sure all the tyres are the same size. After that get it plugged into diagnostics to read codes.

How to adjust toe on 2000 lincoln continental

adjust the tie rod ends to achieve toe-in/out adjustment. Measure across the wheels at the front of the steering tyre and then measure across the tyre at the rear of the steering tyre ( same height) and see what the difference is. Adjust the tie rod ends until the front measurement is smaller than the rear by about 1/8 inch . Lock up the lock nuts on the tie rod ends.

2006 lincoln zephyr tire noise

tyres from the far east have NO noise regulations impossed on them so you buy cheap you get noise.
Continental/bridgestone and a few others sell their tyre on roadholding/braking distance AND quietness..... tyre tread pattern dictates all the above, and they try to copy but YOU suffer.
i would rather you did NOT score this answer if its a negative, because there is no nice way of telling the TRUTH...

Replacing continental tires with general ameri gs60

Yes, its all about wear rates and actual tyre sizes, wheel speeds etc. If one tyre is 2 mm smaller than another this one will turn faster than the rest causing, abs faults, traction control faults and transfer gear faults. Always change all four together and rotate the wheels to keep even tyre wear. I know this can be expensive but the transfer case and transmission are a far greater expense.
