Question about Goodman Heating & Cooling
I'm pretty sure the blower motor is fried as I woke up to the smell of burnt plastic/wiring. The inducer works, the flames light, but the blower will not come on and the furnace shuts down after a short time. I can't find the correct part number/replacement number for the furnace. I'll need to order a new motor but need to confirm the part number so I don't waste money having the wrong one sent overnight delivery.
Part # for motors is usually stamped on motor itself usually all u need it rpm, shaft length, # of speeds, voltage

SOURCE: I have a goodman furnace
Hi, this is not right for sure. On the panel of the furnace, glued to it or some other area inside, you will have a list of codes and the amount of flashes the led is flashing that will tell you what is taking place. They are all different, so 4 flashes will say something about the inducer motor I am sure.Find the code for 4 flashes and it will tell you what is going on. It may be a fan relay sticking, or a flame roll out switch has tripped causing the fan to come on and run, this happens for safety. Please keep me posted on what you find in the comment box to me, and we can go from there if you haven't already fixed the problem. Make sure you stat is set for the fan to be in the auto setting, I am sure you know this. Please keep me posted on this. Please rate me on my help to you on this, thank you.

Need your model # to check the codes but, this coming back on after turning the t-stat off is rare. You may have been in a lockout and the furnace re-started. Some furnaces try to start three times , then lock out. Time out, then re-start. The codes should be on your furnace blower door. Write back with this info and i could help.
