Since you didn't add the model number for your dishwasher, I can't detail any specific fixes. The F2E2 error usually means that the display panel (user interface panel) isn't communicating with the main control. This could be a sign of a bad panel, a wiring problem (loose wiring harness or the wrong panel being installed) or moisture inside the dishwasher. Unplug the dishwasher then you can check the unit.
A common source of the moisture problem is actually loose hose clamps at the pump. That lets water get into the control wiring. The error will reset after the entire unit dries (2+ weeks). You might find the moisture when you pull the unit out of the cabinet for a built-in model. For the other problems, you open the cover and check the grey wires between the LCD panel and the P12 section on the main control.
If your dishwasher is under warranty or are uncomfortable with electrical wiring, you should contact Sears for service before opening the cover to access the wiring.
