SOURCE: cannot recharge battery on my explorist 400 gps

I had the same problem with mine, the AC adapter fails really quickly. Try to go to Radio Shack and get the 3-12v switch able AC adapter that is 1 amp, and select the 4.5 volt setting. This setting is a whole .5 volts less than the one that comes with GPS, but its the Amps that matters. Make sure you get the correct plug with the adapter, I got the "B" plug and follow the directions that came with the adapter to match the right polarity, or you will fry your GPS. Also, the computer just supplies enough power to run the GPS, but not to charge it as long as you have the USB 2.0 ports.

Hi, I have a new ryobi touch start weedeater. I have used it twice. I charged it overnight for first use. It worked fine. After 2nd use ran out of charge so I re charged it . It doesn't seem

If it doesn't seem to be recharging or taking a full charge, check the charging jack to make sure no foreign object (leaf debris, etc) got into it. If it is clean, then you probably have a warranty issue with the battery or charging system.

Note: do not leave the string trimmer out in the sun or outdoors in cold weather while it is charging. The charging process only works properly at room temperature. In particular, lithium batteries are very finicky about charging conditions. Charging overheated lithium batteries can cause a fire, so they have a safety circuit to prevent charging outside the proper temperature range.

Air Hog Pocket Copter won't charge

If this was the original charger for the air hog copter and it just started to fail in recharging , there must be a faulty part inside the charger that is causing the problem, staying red light during charging period and never turns to green or other color to show that it was charged is one problem but when it also shuts off after 30 seconds without charging definitely shows a faulty part or parts inside the charger. To check this out you can try another good charger which you can borrow from a friend to see if it would charge your copter or you can take it to the store where you bought the copter , they may be able to confirm the fault on your charger, if it can be fixed or needs a replacement.

Blower part stopped working. What could the problem be?

see the steps and fix it. GOD BLESS YOU

Find the cause of the problem. This may be obvious: if the starter cord is broken, then obviously that's your problem. But if you simply have a blower that won't start and nothing apparent to cause the problem, it's time for a bit of investigative work.

  • 2
Examine the starter mechanism. Is the spring in place? Is the rope wound tightly? If anything is coming apart in there, then your starter won't work properly, and you won't be able to start the machine.

  • 3
Check the spark plug. If it is old or appears blackened or corroded, it may be keeping the blower from starting.

  • 4
Check the fuel tank and fuel line. If the cap on the fuel tank is missing, cracked or failing to seal properly, or if you have a leak in the fuel tank, the lack of pressure in the fuel system will cause problems. Check the fuel line as well for any cracks, leaks or stoppage.

Fix the Problem
  • 5
Repair the starter assembly by removing it from the body of the blower. You can take it to a repair shop to have it rebuilt for a small charge (usually less since you've already removed it), or you can repair it yourself by purchasing a new spring and starter rope, installing the spring and rewinding the rope. Then screw the assembly back into place onto the blower.

  • 6
Replace the spark plug by unscrewing the old one, brushing away any debris and screwing in a new spark plug.

  • 7
Replace the tank or line. This is the only way to repair leaks in the tank or line. Be sure you order the correct part (not just any tank will fit any blower) and the right size of fuel line (usually one of the smallest available). If you're not sure, call a repair shop and have the model and serial number of your machine handy. With this information, they can help you find the right parts.

You already have a bigger problem. The internal battery won't hold a charge. Time to replace it.

Batt dead jump start does not seem to charge

Sounds like a dead or shorted cell battery. Charging system is probably working but is showing overcharge since it is trying to charge a brick. Replace the battery and all should be well.

Stihl backpack blower starter rope is pulling harder and harder. When it dose pull it starts right up.

See if your rope pulley is opening up and allowing rope to double over on itself. When this happens the rope will wedge in pulley causing it to pull hard.

Lights up when turned on,but repeated clicking when you try to start it

dose it start when you get a boost off, and if it dose you need to check your battery connectors they may need replacing, and if thats not the problem make sure that your alternator is charging your battery and if non of these are the problem you need a starter.

Dead battery or starter?

Take the battery out and have it charged up. reinstall it and you should be allright. Your car has discharged it completely, and it will need a recharge to start. The gauge is only measuring voltage, and not the status of charge.
