Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.

Picture doesn't fit screen. A 1-1/2 inch wide band on top and bottom of screen. Have tried the picture button on remote but it only gives me options ie: Panoramic, standard, wide etc. Nothing seems to

Many units will self adjust the image size, but the size of the image you will see depends on what size it was originally recorded in. You can change it in the settings of the TV but most likely it will not go bigger if it was shot smaller.

I can't seem to print passport size photo on my mg6120

well depending on what program you are using to edit your photo. I know Photoshop has rulers on the top and sides of the screen so you could adjust you size that way. Or you can (in photoshop) select and preset the size you want the image to be and then open the photo, then drag and drop photo to the preset sized screen and the adjust photo to fit in the preset space.

Some other programs have adjustments to images in the top left of the screen and will say things like "crop" or "re-size" try using those tools, I know in most Windows running computers you have PAINT already installed. And the re-size tool should work for you. I will show by percent % how much you would like to re-size your image. so if you want it have the size of what you already have then type in 50% in the horizontal and 50% in the vertical and then apply and see if that's the size you need. if not then re-size again (but remember one you go 50% (or half size) you will most likely not want to go that much the next time because it will be re sizing your already 50% and then reducing that size by another 50% so 2nd and 3rd try i would go 80 or 90% each time until you have reached your size.

I could go on and on but see if that works if not let me know and i'll give ya some more options

How do i adjust size of desktop background to fit screen

If you are using Windows Vista right mouse click on an empty area of the desktop and select personalize. Click on the tab for background and there are options there to fit to screen, stretch image, tile, etc. Select the stretch image and then apply. It will make the image fit your entire desktop. If you are using Windows XP it would basically be the same steps exceot when you right click you would select properties. Hope this helps.

NEED TO ADJUST THE VERTICAL SIZE OF A PANASONIC TV

Has the image been "zoomed" into?  This is usually the result of a image that has been adjusted to fill the screen.  This is not the same as adjusting the aspect ratio as that would still show the entire image even if distorted.  When the image is cropped or is missing information, a zoom feature is usually the culprit.
If this isn't the problem, you maybe able to adjust the TV's horizontal/vertical placement through the TV's onscreen menu but only if it provides that option.  Do you see other channels that appear to fit properly?  I have seen certain channels not fit correctly while others do and this is due to the signal, not your TV.

When I scan a page and email it to someone, including myself, the image enlarges 12 times larger. How do I change the print size?

Check the resolution of your scanned pictures. I don't know what program you use to view your scanned images, but although you see what looks like the proper image size to you may actually be a reduced size so that it fits on the screen. Check the percentage of view that should be indicated on your screen somewhere, It may say something like 10%.
Since I don't know what software you are using to scan with, look in its help directory for instructions on how to adjust or reduce the resolution when you scan you images. Either that or once scanned open up your images with a image editing application and adjust the resolution there.
