Digital carrier thermostat reading P- on display. Any idea what this means

Some thermostats run on their own batteries, but some need power from the furnace to display, check this first. "P" may mean power.

What does OF.L mean in display?

It means OverFLow - the display unit can read from -39.8°F to 139.8 °F and it is getting a signal from the sending unit that is lower than -39.8 or higher than 139.8. This happens when the sending unit goes haywire (or, not likely, when temperature out doors is REALLY lower or higher than the range). Replace the sending unit. If you really like the product, I suggest you buy another of the same model. It will come with a new sending unit and that will be read by both of the displays if they are within 80 ft of the sending unit. Good luck.

What does led reading DEF mean on model G20010

DEF means it is in defrost mode. If it looks like it doesn't need defrosting, or if it looks like it is frozen up, the display can sometimes stick showing def until it gets back to its set temperature.. Check all is clean and working, leave off for a day with door open and see if it is ok after that.

My gmc terrain is showing "8" on dash where speedometer is. what does that mean?

The number 8 means that the digital display in between the speedometer and tachometer is reading your speed. It you set your display to trip odometer to trip one it will read 1, trip odometer 2 will read 2, fuel economy will read another number. and finally navigation will read 9.

The digital display for a Magic Chef gas oven reads "5 A6", what does that mean?

Your range is probably in the Sabbath mode. The error code shown on the display is"Sab", not "5ab".

To disable the Sabbath mode push and hold the Clock pad for 3 seconds.

Convert decimal

It means "six point one times ten to the minus four" or 0.00061 .

Read the "E" as "times ten to the". The calculator switches to scientific notation when the number is too small or too large to display using the current display mode.

The display reads CALC.

I have a Krups model FME4 and it means that you should descale the machine. Here's a link to the use and care instructions for my model, I assume it would be the same for yours.

My problem is that CALC continues to display even after I've descaled several times. Good luck with yours.
