Wiring with only 2 wires; which terminals to connect?

See RC and RH, RC is for cool, RH is for heat, you wire the red wire to the RH or red terminal ,either one will work actually but we generally switch the hot leg of power, W is the heat circuit

My empire heater wont turn off and just keeps blowing cold air. pilot is lit and all thermostat wires seem to be connected. any ideas?

Sounds like the thermostat for the blower motor (not the gas thermostat) has shorted. Remove front cover on stove. Follow the wires from the blower motor back to the blower thermostat. Replace with new one. Blower model # DRB-1.

Empire Hearter (old unit) Model # DU 215-7SG Pilot light goes on and stay on but the main burner will not ignite.

I notice that I have the same problem and the wire coming out of the frame on the outside opposite where the thermocouple attaches to the frame on the inside goes nowhere. Shouldn't that wire connecting to something? If so, exactly where is the point of attachement of that wire? It should control the opening of the main gas value somehow.

Heater doesn't start.

Check the length of your thermostat wire. Mine was about 10ft and I experienced the same problem. Reduced it to 6 and the problem was fixed.

Empire DV-35 low heat low flame

Check your gas pressure, You could have a gas valve problem or you could have a restriction in the air intake.

I have a travel trailer with a roof top a/c colman mach111 and I hooked up a thermostate digital. The heat works but cant get a/c to come on. the termanials on hunter thermostate are G W Y RC RH

OK, the wiring that you should have in your RV is as follows: Red White Blue Yellow Green Gray.

This Thermostat will not work on this Air conditioner because the tstat you are installing is a 24V thermostat. The connections are as follows G = Fan, W = White, Y = Cooling, RC = 24V Cool, RH = 24V. The only thing that I can think to do is hook it up like so.

On the G Terminal, Hook up the Green wire from the wall. On W, hook up the White wire, Y, hook up the yellow wire. RC = run a jumper from the RH terminal, RH = hook up the red wire. If this doesn't work then you will have to go back with the coleman thermostat.
