SOURCE: Double oven / convection not working

It is likely that the convection element is burned out and needs to be replaced. If all other functions are working then this is the place to start. Teh back panel inside of the oven can be removed by removing the 4 visible philips screws on it. The element should look smooth and round, if not then it needs to be replaced. Be sure to turn power off to the oven before replacing it. Remove the screws that fasten the element to the back wall and gently pull the element away from the wall an inch or so. the wires will be exposed and can be unclipped from the element do not let them fall inside of the back of the oven or you will have to remove the oven from the wall to get at the back panel. Install the new element in the reverse procedure. If the element looks good then it will have to be tested with a multimeter to verify that it is still good before proceeding to check the selector switch for burn marks.

SOURCE: Jenn-Air Wall Oven Model #WW30430P F5 Fault Code

I have the exact same problem with an F5 fault code. I also have a new clock assembly. RepairClinic.com said "Jenn Air fault code F5 = Hardware and watchdog circuits disagree / Replace clock assembly (also called the ERC)

Jenn Air Fault code for newer models F5 = Power to element relays disabled in cook mode
1. Intermittent oven temperature sensor or wire harness or,
2. Intermittent contact on power relay board"
This doesn't help since it is too technical. What should I do next?

Frigidaire PLEB30S8CCA baking element not working

Good Morning Jane, thank you for your post!

From what you have described, it sounds like you possibly have problem with a faulty thermal fuse, power supply board, user interface board or a communication error with the EOC (Electronic Oven Control). This is not a typical do it yourself job. Please reach out to an expert technician to ensure the appropriate replacement part(s) is ordered and is installed correctly to prevent future issues.

Best regards!

Frigidaire Oven Problem

please post the model Number here..so i can look it up but just off hand there maybe an oven sensor (thermistor) problem this in inside the oven and tells the electronic ctrl board what the actual temp is in the oven it says 135 beacause it will until the temp reachs that after that as the temp goes up it will read 140 150 160 .. and so on until it reachs the set temp .. Is the oven getting hot and are there any fault codes coming up??

Stuck oven light bulb

I use 2 sided tape to get a grip on the bulb. If it is really stuck and you end up breaking it, don't worry as it will be easier to remove the rest of the bulb with a pair of needle nose pliers.

When I try and Bake or Broil the oven beeps and gives a fault code of F3EO

HI. Generally, this will be the cause of a failed oven temp sensor. If your unit's orientation is doubled, the top oven sensor will be the culprit. Some model will incorporate a sensor fuse at the wiring harness. Check the fuse, if equipped, for continuity. If the fuse is bad, replace it. If the fuse is ok, replace the oven temp sensor.

My oven takes a very long time to warm up. Any tips.

Mine does too ...in bake mode (45min to reach 350c) ...although broil (which I hardly use) reaches max temp in 3min ...I'm assuming the lower element has worn out and needs to be change.

F1 beeping

hello there:
Please read this carefully and follow the tips and this will help you find out what is exactly the problem ok
How to test many brands of Ranges that are flashing a F1 fault code: You have either a bad ERC (clock) or a bad touch pad.
  1. Disconnect power to stove
  2. Gain access to the back of the clock (electronic range control or ERC).
  3. Unplug the touch pad ribbon connector from the ERC. This will be a flat wire approx. 1 1/2" to 2" wide.
  4. Make sure everything is clear and will not short out when power is turned back on.
  5. Turn power back on to stove.
  6. Watch for the F1 and listen for the beep.
  7. If you get the F1 and beep, replace the ERC.
  8. If after approx. 30 minutes you do NOT get the F1 and hear the beep, replace the touch pad.
NOTE: Some models incorporate the touch pad and the clock as one part. * We have seen a few of the newer Maytag ranges with a F1 fault code and the problem was the oven temp sensor, check carefully the wires to and from the oven temp sensor!!

F1 code on display pad

That error means the main control board has a internal failure. The board will have to replaced to fix that issue. If you need detailed repair help with that visit the link below:
