Question about LG Cell Phones
You can only get this done if you own the phone and it is not on an undischarged contract. Most are 2 years from new. Your new cellphone provider will unlock it for you.
If it is a consumer code lock you are referring to, that can be removed by doing a factory reset.
If it is a network set PUK Code, then only the cellphone provider can give you the code. It has been locked with encryption at firmware level. Click on my name and there is an article in my Tips.

Testimonial: "I have a unlock code from the provider but when I try to get to the point to enter it it says network permanently locked and can not be unlocked"
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
