You can see if a capacitor is bad by looking at the top. If it is flat, it is good. If it looks like the top is bulging, then it needs replacement. Sometimes you will see it leaking under it. If you are capable, you can remove the capacitors to isolate and test with a multimeter.

If i replace my yamaha crossover capacitor, what will be the consequences

The capacitor determines the cutoff frequency of the filter used to either block or pass frequencies above or below the intended design point. Generally, electrolytic capacitors are used for this, due to their capacity for a given size. electrolytic capacitors are manufactured with two foil plates separated by a gauze soaked in electrolyte compound. This electrolyte compound forms a one molecule thick insulation layer. If this electrolyte dries up, the cap will tend to fail, either short or open, usually short. Because the insulation so thn, it is very much affected by the applied voltage (usually DC). Most electrolytic capacitors are used to block DC. these capacitors are usually pretty sensitive to the applied voltage. Most electrolytic capacitors have a WVDC rating, which stands for Woirking Voltage Direct Current. The higher the WVDC rating, the largewr the capacitor for a given capacitance. Also, these capacitors have a very wide tolerance because of this. Typically, this tolerance is +10%/-80%. This rating would indicate that at close to the WVDC rating, the capacitor will be within 10% of its rating. If the capacitor is used in a circuit where the WVDC rating is much higher than the circuit voltage, their will not be enough bias voltage to form the one molecule thick dielectric (insulation) needed for the rated capacitance. So, if the capacitor is rated for 100WVDC and is used in a circuit that only has 40 volts, the effective capacitance will be much lower, and therefor, the crossover frequency would be affected. If the crossover filter is a high pass, then you would risk damage by allowing too much low frequency content to get to the mid/high frequency driver(s). For a low pass configuration, too much high frequency material would get to the woofer, which might affect imaging, but should not damage the driver. Also, electrolytic capacitors come in many varieties. Almost all of them are polarized, meaning that the terminals are marked plus and minus. Capacitors for crossovers are not typically polarized. Here is a link to some non polarized electrolytic caps:

Most audio enthusiasts prefer the sound of polypropylene, polycarbonate or polystyrene capacitors over aluminum electrolytic caps, which also have the advantage of not drying out over time, so they last longer. Also, aluminum electrolytics tend to fail if they do not have a bias voltage applied for a long time. Here is a link to some film cpas for crossovers:

My digitech rp 500 has power supply but it won't

Make sure you have the OFFICIAL Digitech power adapter. Universal adapters or those for MOST other pedals will NOT work... things may light up but you will NOT get audio. This unit requires an adapter supplying 9 VAC (not DC) at about 1 amp. These AC output adapters are not very common and people get the units without an adapter and try using universal adapters and they do not work. An AC adapter is used by Digitech so they can generate both plus and minus voltages internally. I don't know what your utility power voltage is in Cebu, so you need to get an adapter for your voltage that will give 9 VAC output and fit the power jack on the unit.

Hiwhat is the best way to connect my DigiTech RP10 to my Marshall MA100H Guitar Amplifier

Read your manuals for both pieces of gear carefully first. You only have one amp so you won't be able to take advantage of all the FX on the Digitech as a lot of them are designed for stereo. The Digitech manual shows guitar into the Digitech and output from the Digitech into input of any guitar amp. Since you have a Marshall and can already get some great sounds by running your guitar straight into the Marshalls input, you would probably be better off using your Digitech in the FX loop. Run a guitar cord out of the send on the loop into the input of the Digitech and a guitar cord out of the left / mono output jack on the Digitech into the effects return jack on the Marshall. Start out with the effects level on the Marshall all the way down. Do the same with the Digitech with both the input and output levels. (Read the manual carefully) I think the choice of the Digitech isn't that great because it is already trying to reproduce a lot of what you can already get with just your Marshall but with a little experimentation and some careful adjustments you should be able to add to the sound of the Marshall. Hope this helps.

I NEED TAN ELECTRONIC SCHEMATIC

Here is a link to the manual:ftp://ftp.digitech.com/pub/PDFs/Manuals/RP1000/RP1000%20manual%2018-0597-A.pdf It is highly unlikely that you will find a schematic unless you know a service tech for a music store that deals Digitech. Also you will need some specialized tools. Here is their contact info:http://www.digitech.com/dealers/service_lookup.php If you are a tech you can always contact them.

My digitech vocalist 2 is extemely noisy! the ground switch helps only partly. It seems to be bad when you first turn it on and gets worse the longer you use it.

To check for a temperature related problem, try putting it in the freezer for a while then bring it out and see if it affects the noise. If it does, then problem can be found with circuit cooler mist.

Also see if noise is affected by vibration.
