Dryer won't dry clothes

First check and see if your heating element is working by holding down the dryer door switch and turning on the dryer too see if you get a glowing from the rear inside of the drum. If it does glow then check to see if you have a kink in your dryer line or check to see if you have a clogged vent outside the vent to the dryer. Also you may want to try resetting your power to the dryer by unplugging the dryer and turning off and then backb on the breaker to the dryer then plug the dryer back in and see if that works.

Dryer won't turn on

turn the breaker on and off.If the dryer is electrical it should be a double breaker (2 switches connected with a small bar across)
Unplug the dryer and plug in after 10 seconds - might reset the electronics
dryer has thermal cutouts for safety so leave it unplugged for 1 hour see if that helps. If it starts and quits again calling service is best solution. We are talking lots of voltage here and fire is not an option
There are internal fuses as well If they blow you definitely have a problem
Todays dryers are more complex and they do need somebody qualified
to service them safely
good luck

A zipper from a comforter is lodged between the moving drum and its housing causing a possible drag on the rotating drum. not sure how to dislodge zipper or remove drum to access

The whole drum should move a bit. Try turning it by hand and pushing back on it (or pulling forward). Also, you can try lifting up quite hard (drum is free to move about 1/2" in all directions the way most are set up. I havn't seen this specific unit but it is worth a try.

Otherwise, I think there is a set of screws around the top perimeter holding the top deck on. Remove that and you will have a better view of what moves and by how much.

Remember )

1) Unplug the unit before unscrewing anything.

2) Make sure everything is put back as you found it before putting lid back on.

Also, you won't break anything by only taking it apart to look. Have fun doing it and good luck. Hopefully they used standard screws instead of some tamper-resistant fasteners that German manufactures are using a lot of lately (Braun, Krups, Bosch, ...).

Most hopefully, you can get it un-stuck by shifting the drum a bit.

Circuit breaker tripped, i reset it and the dryer read PF, cleared that...but now the dryer just beeps when youy hit any button like start. The dryer is a kenmore h3 gas dryer

try resetting the breakers again as they may have tripped again as sometimes they only move a bit and they look like they are ok but they are not.I would also unplug the dryer for thirty seconds to reset it and start again.

We just finished a load in the dryer and it worked fine. When we went to start another load it wouldn't start. The circuit works, it is plugged in, and the door is shut

Are your lint traps clean? Also, your vent hose going out the back of the dryer sometimes gets clogged up, and this will shut down your dryer until it is cleaned out. Try this, and if it still doesn't work - try shutting the dryer's circuit breaker off (or if its easier to unplug the dryer), and then back on again. This will reset the breaker, and then you can try running your dryer again. In fact, you can do the circuit breaker step first. If this doesn't work, then clean the lint trap, vent, etc. - and then return to the circuit breaker step. I hope this works for you. If not, let me know. I'll check back with you in a little bit. Good Luck!  Jim
