SOURCE: Transferring photos from computer to photo frame

I just called the company because I have one as well. They told me that in the case of my photo frame I cannot transfer them from a pc. I need to buy a usb storage device or other devices to keep the pictures. That needs to be on the photo frame to view pictures. I am not happy with this since they should have told us that it would cost more money. I will never buy Philips again!

SOURCE: how to delete a picture from a digital photo frame

Using the USB cable you can connect to your computer and change the photos or delete the ones you no longer want.

Plug the USB into your computer - If you don't see the pop up message letting you do this, Go to my computer and check the photo frame appears as a new device.

To remove a picture, connect the frame to your PC via USB. you should see the frame appear as a drive, in my case,
36972 (E:)

open the drive as Explore, you can now see the pictures, and delete what you no longer want.

you can download the software from

Backup photos in photo frame internal memory.

There is usually some sort of "umbilical" cord that you connect between the Digital Frame unit and your computer. Should terminate in a usb male connector to plug into your computer for downloading and backing up images.

Hello, I have the following digital frame. Unfortunately, I don't have the instructions. Mustek Model # PF-A702BM. I uploaded the photos to my frame but unfortunately didn't copy them to my computer...

If the photos are on an external memory card you should be able to put that into your computer and retrieve your photos that way. If this is not an option because the photos are actualy saved to the digital photo frame then you should be able to connect the photo frame to your computer using a USB cable and then copy the photos to your computer. I am not particularly familiar withthe product but i hope this helps

Both the thumb drive and the picture frame are USB slave devices, not USB masters. They both need to be connected to a USB master in order to transfer files.

Do you have a standard USB cable from some other device, any other device? If so, that should fit into the picture frame. If not, you'll have to buy one.

Connect the thumb drive to your computer. Create a folder on the computer and copy your photos to that folder. Then connect the picture frame to the computer and copy the photos from the folder to the frame.

If you have two or more USB ports, you can skip the folder and just copy photos from the thumb drive directly to the frame.

On the opening frame when you turn it on Scroll through the icons to "setup" . Press enter.. A screen will come up sayinf "set up menu-photo setting"..Scroll down the left column to the center multi color icon and press enter. Press the right arrow on the handheld. In the grey box that comes up you will see various controls.. The third on the list is "brightness" . Press enter and then right arrow .. Scroll to setting you desire. Coby digital picture frame

should be able to use a memory stick or card. upload from computer onto stick/card, insert into frame & will upload pix. some frames have a USB cord that connects directly to the computer as well, if so, you can plug it into the computer (& the frame), and upload the pix you want on the frame from there (sometimes there's a program on your computer that will assist you, sometimes you just do it manually).

If this doesn't help you, please see:
http://www.cobyusa.com/?p=doc

This is the Coby website. You input the product & it will pull up all available documentation for it. Sometimes the manuals are available online.

If I've been helpful, please let me know w/ a scoring.

Thanks.

There is a certain thing you can buy that has a cord that hooks up to your computer, and then you put your camera in the little holder and it uploads. BUT if you dont want to spend your money on that, yes you need a USB cord to upload. Your camera should have come with A USB cord, manual,CAMERA (:, a software disk, etc.
