Question about New Home L-373 Mechanical Sewing Machine
I bought a 1946 New Home sewing machine in near mint condition. My mother had the exact same machine . This machine doesn't have a belt but a rubber wheel on a shaft from the motor. This rubber wheel then pushes against the hand wheel and makes it turn. I know this is going to be a hard part to find because after all these years the rubber gets hard. Does anyone have any ideas of something else I can use. I would love to use it.
