I have a Samsung 4 Tablet not a cell phone

Your last question was posted in the cell phone category, therefore we experts assume you were asking for help with a phone. You wanted to post that in the tablets section. Also, unfortunately whoever you wanted the message to go to, it didn't. You wrote a new question and they likely didn't see it. Click on your profile to delete the old question, and post again in the appropriate "tablet" section to get the best results.

    Thanks!

My tablet keeps stopping unexpectedly at the home screen and there is no way to stop it. can you reset this unit?

Are you trying to wipe the data with the reset? This will get you back to factory settings. It is entirely possible that there are apps on the tab that need to come off and have caused a problem.

    1. With the device off, press and hold Volume Up and Power.
    2. Release the Power button when you see the Samsung logo, but continue to hold Volume Up until the recovery screen appears.
    3. Use the Volume buttons to navigate the menu and select wipe data / factory reset. Press Home to choose the selection.
    4. Press Volume Up continue.
The Galaxy Tab should then go through the hard reset process.

download comodo internet security and scan your system. you have spyware/malware on your system. Don't download what it is telling you to, because it wants you to purchase their program, comodo is free.

you can download it just disreagurd the message that says that they aren't approved by microsoft. About 20% of the stuff used isn't approved it just means they didn't test it. I have the same driver in 4 machines in my Home, xp and Vista. There is no problem installing a non microsoft approved driver, especially realtek, since most notebooks and desktops come with the hardware you have.
